To my furry friend whom I love so much, a lifetime with you is never enough. You’ve always been my best friend, and even though you’re gone that never will end. You were always there right by my side, for whatever I did and whatever I tried. There could never be another quite like you, I knew you were for me when I first saw you. I know you’ll look down and watch over me, and when my times comes I’ll make sure you’re the first I’ll see. I can never forget you whatever I do, this is because I will always love you.

Hi Karen. I love your Rusty story. Karen, you gave Rusty such love, such care. I can relate to being a "pest" at the vet clinic. At the end of my own sweet girl's life, I to was there often with her at the vets. Rusty sounds like a little trooper. No matter what he was going through he was there for you, with you. We try to do what we can for our fur babies but in the end, there are some things we cannot overcome so we have to let go. The bond you and Rusty had was strong. He knew he was loved. I am so happy to know he came to you in a dream. Cherish the memories you created with him.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Rusty. Please find comfort in knowing that Rusty is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. I am sure that Rusty and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Such a very beautiful dog. Such a soft and loving face. I am so very sorry for your loss. The pain is devastating and does not go away....the only peace is knowing that perhaps he feels better and will soon be happy. Our babies suffer as much as we do when they have to leave. I sing and talk to my angel every day and I pray he hears. I tell him how much I love him and always will. I tell him how much I miss him and how I hope he feels better and will soon be happy. I tell him it is OK, that I am alright and that he is better now and that is why I did what I had to. I always live in fear that he is mad at me and I pray that goes away. I pray they understand how we are lucky enough to be able to put them out of dire pain and distress. I too lost my furbaby and am numb in pain. My memories and pictures help me a lot. I feel the mourning I am going thru is so deserved by him for all he gave me in his life with me. Nothing can replace what you/we have had. Magic..air hug

Dear Karen, I certainly could tell from your heartfelt memorial page to Rusty how much he mean to you. Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know the heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I do hope, with time, the sadness will ease and in its place will be joyful memories of Rusty that will make you smile or laugh again when you think of him. Blessings, Dianna

I am so sorry for your loss of Rusty. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Rusty that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Rusty and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Rusty continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm
