Hi Rusty What a special guy you are. At the bridge I'll bet you run like the wind. Today I've met all of your family's furbabies. I'll bet you guys are the talk of the bridge. Run like the wind! But take a minute to send your family back here some kisses on the spring breeze. And keep an eye out for a little cat named Finn. He's pretty cool too.

Carrie and Richard, The depth of your caring for another of God's creatures is touching and inspiring. It is continued evidence that good outweighs bad. Rusty was a very lucky pup to have landed in your caring hearts. Take comfort in knowing that you made his time on this Earth better because you loved him. Gail

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Rusty, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this Holiday season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hello, handsome Rusty. We're sorry we've not visited sooner but we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty you welcomed and helped ease her way into Paradise meadow and who plays in sunbeams and chases rainbows with you. Pressy asked her family to visit her doggie playmate Rusty. She said she gives you her special kitty love headbumps and taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mom and Dad feel your loving presence and special hugs in gentle breezes. Pressy said you send love signs to tell them you're in Paradise meadow watching over them waiting with the others in their meadow fur family until they come to cross the Bridge to be together forever. Play happily in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too. Soar among clouds with your meadow fur family now on silvery angel wings to watch over Mom and Dad together always, beloved Russie. Pressy's Grandpa

Hello Rusty-How handsome you were, and such a great smile for your mom and dad. Those eyes and that smile tell me you were so much at ease knowing you were no longer alone, and found someone to love you for the short time you blessed Ritz and Carrie with-they miss you so-that special bond of love helped them guide your way to this most wondrous and magical of meadows, where you are once more young and healthy, and without hip and leg problems, and can now run with the best of them, so run free as the wind---you will have your family all around you once again with Brody and Maggie, and i can imagine how joyous a reunion it was. make sure to say hi to my little guy Caleb,as he will be looking to meet all of you-he says one can never have enough friends--he was a daddys boy only here on earth, and i miss him terribly-he went into kidney failure, and i had to send him of to Heaven also, and that has left such a void in my life, but i know he is at peace with all of you,so play safely.

Rusty The Man - What a great companion you were and how you appreciated your mom and dad! They loved you so much! Let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and can run fast and play hard now. Also you can eat all the Pizza you want forever at Rainbows Bridge. Find Brody, and Mags and all of you can be appointed mom and dads guardian angels to watch over them and protect them. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you.

I just visited Rusty's page today. Ritz and Carrie, I'm so sorry for your loss. Bless you for taking in Rusty and Maggie, and giving them a chance to have a home and know what it is to be loved. What a beautiful, selfless gift. Your tributes to them both are very touching.
