It's 2013 and we still miss you. You were an old soul, who taught me so much about love and acceptance. We still travel with your ashes back and forth to Rhinebeck and the city. You are with us always and we miss you deeply.

Ruby, you are such a beautiful dog who gave so much love to your parents and filled their lives with so much love and great memories. Enjoy your time at the RB and say hi to our dog Gus who has been there now for almost 2 months. Run free and enjoy all the fun things the RB has to offer. Melinda & Andy, we understand your loss for Ruby...just take comfort in knowing that we will one day see our wonderful pets again...until then..take care.

Good Morning Ruby, and what a pretty girl you are. My special guy Cy will be right there to welcome you with open paws. This is a magical night at the bridge, at 11:45, all the pets gather at the rim of the rainbow, and look down at their people and former homes. THen at midnight all in unison whisper ":Ilove you". And you know what, all of us hear you. So now you have a very special job at the bridge, and thatis to be the guardian angel for your mom and dad. Smile down on them from the rainbow, ad they will know it is you. But for now, run fast, play hard, and love always. Cheryl aka Cyrano's mom

You know how sorry we all are. Ruby was one of those truly cool dogs, a real companion, a great friend. I will miss her too.

Dear sweet Ruby, you will be in the heart & soul of your human parents, Melinda and Andy, forever. Visit them often and let them know you are safe at the Bridge & were met with loving hearts & open paws, and you'll patiently wait for their arrival one day, when you’ll be together forever. Look for my crew, China, Rollo, Big Guy, George, Peaches, Joey & Tracer. I’m sure they’ll be happy to show you the best places to sneak a nap, down a steak, or take a swim.

Dear Melinda and Andy I sit here with tears streaming down my face today marks the one year anniversary for my Princess at RB, she was a rescue and was our little Princess. I am emotional because of this but also because we have a black lab that is 11 and has alot of health problems, your beautiful way of putting into words of the honor it was to let your baby cross over to RB with dignity and respect on your husband's birthday just gave me a little glimpse of the last gift that I may have to give my furchild one day in the near future. Thank you for helping me in your grief. May you have beautiful memories of your furbaby, I bet my Princess has already begn the grand brodge tour for your child.

Ruby honey, we're gonna miss ya big time! We loved to see you come trotting up to our door with your parents, because not only did it mean fun and games, but usually table scraps later! Duncan didn't care when you would occasionally beat him up, 'cause he new you loved him anyway. We won't forget you. We'll always remember you swimming in our pond and guarding your turf under the table. We know we'll both see you again one day. Rest for now, Ruby.

Ruby - what a wonderful companion you were to your mommy and daddy. You were so loyal and faithful, and you made them happy and laugh a lot. Take time to send them a message and tell them that you are now healthy, happy, and can run fast and play hard with all your new fur friends. I will tell my Brande to look you up and you and Brande can go hang a Christmas ornament on the tree for your mommy and daddy and for me. We will see it shining and we will know it is from you and Brande. To Melinda & Andy - I know how you feel as I lost my soul mate not long ago. See Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm God has promised that we will be with our babies again and I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." You may not remember us. But we met you when you were a puppy. You should be on the lookout for Gabby, Monty and Dakota (who preferred to be called Cody). They've been staying at RainbowBridge and we hear they are trouble-makers. They will show you around and give you their secrets to getting more food and having the fluffiest beds. They could be bad influences on you, but you will surely have fun with them by your side. We told them to expect you. Sleep well.

Good morning, Ruby ... tears are gently falling as I write to you - sometimes humans cry because their hearts ache with love for those who have crossed over - even furbabies we have never met. You're free of pain, your dignity restored as well as your health and youth ... play and chase butterflies with my Ralphie - he will give you special Yorkie kisses and share all his love with you. Bellyrubs and kisses for a beautiful fur angel.

Ruby was like a second dog to our family she would always come to visit us and strengthened all of our friendships by giving us a opportunity to chat as we made sure she got home safe. She had the most beautiful eyes and calm expression. I hope you realize that you are both truly dynamic people just like her. Always treasure the memory of having such a wonderful companion to share your lives with. I truly am saddened over her passing and have cried on numerous occasions. My mother told me that the last weekend she was at my house she took extra time to nuzzle our dog Junior. Perhaps it was a farewell. One will never know. Her memory will be carried on by all of those whose lives she touched. She was a great dog and a great friend.
