Dear Whitey and Robbie, I'm thinking of you both so much today. I feel your beautiful spirits close by me, as I'm writing to you on your special day. As Tessa has gotten to be such a good friend of mine, I can feel you Max right there with us when we're talking. I honestly don't know what I'd do without her. Thank you for sharing her with me! I hope you enjoy your cake. Have fun poking holes in it as you eat it. Be sure to share some with your friend Max, and please stay extra close to Tessa today. You know how much she loves you! I so look forward to that glorious day when we can all meet at the river in heaven! Love, Lorraine

My beloved Robbie & Whitey, Today marks the 2nd Anniversary of your passing. And it seemed a fitting tribute to you that I should spend a part of this special day on the Blue Cross help-lines supporting 2 owners whose pets have gone home to Heaven - leaving their owners heart-broken without them. I have been urged to `use that special love for the good of others` that I will always feel for you who fly with me daily - you and dear Max ever the `love of my life`. When you passed you gave me this special compassion for those who suffer similar loss to me. Today I celebrate your lives and the wonderful gift of love - the legacy of compassion - you left with me. May I use this sacred Gift always in your sweet memory to bring healing and comfort to those who mourn for their fur/feather children. You and Max are my wonderful co-workers. Today the vision you gave me 2 years ago is starting to be fulfilled - `to heal the brokenhearted and to bind up their wounds`.Tessa who loves you always X

Tessa, What a deeply moving tribute to your adorable little pigeon family, Robbie, Whitey and Max. They were all so blessed to have such a loving and intuitive caretaker as you, who fully opened up her heart and gave them a quality of life they would not have otherwise had. My Arnold was fascinated by birds. He would watch them for hours from his window. I know they are all together now, frolicking by the Bridge.

Tessa, Thank you for your message today. I got it immediately because I’m still here at this memorial site, having a conversation with my River. In fact, I’m here all the time, everyday, looking at each of River’s pictures and remembering the activities we were doing when those pictures were taken. Robbie was so chubby in the picture; I also liked Whitey’s color combination. I don’t understand the “rules that was going to be enforced banning the birds from the home”. Is that so in London? That’s crazy! What harm could birds do in people’s homes? But no matter; they’re all now flying freely at Rainbow Bridge, with my River sprinting underneath trying desperately to keep up. Do you know about Rottweilers? River’s best friend was my Fluke, the Rott. People who knew about them smiled. They were amused that such a massive breed like a Rottweiler would be a close friend of the diminutive Beagle. Thank you for talking to me, Tessa. It means a lot, especially at this

Robbie & Whitey, My beloved pigeons, on December 2nd it will be your first Anniversary. I did not think I would survive losing you in this life - or recover from the trauma of having to end your lives because you were under threat of being forcibly removed from me by Pest Control - a fate worse than death! It has taken time to heal from your passing and the way I had to say goodbye - though it was peaceful for you. I have gladly paid the price of love. Because I understand what it is to suffer the pain of losing you I have been able to help other parents through their loss. Thank you for your daily inspiration along with Max, my wonderful mate and your older brother. We both send you our special love as we celebrate your first Anniversary at Rainbow Bridge. You took over Max`s pigeon rescue work when he passed and now you help me to comfort bereaved pet owners. Max and I give thanks for your beautiful lives and for still inspiring me daily - ever my co-workers - with me always...Tessa

My beloved pigeons, Robbie and Whitey, precious beautiful companions for 10 years. I love you so much. I miss you living with me - looking after you - all the laughs we had - our nightly meditation together. House-sitting is not the same without you. I`m glad you are safe and happy now with our wonderful Max. One day we`ll all be together in Heaven. Meanwhile, thank you and Max for looking after me - inspiring me daily. Your photos are a comfort to me. I am so blessed to have had your love in my life for as long as I did - before it became impossible to protect you from those who wished you harm. And now you can both fly properly and you are well again. Your Tessa - whose heart will always love you and will be broken until she sees you again - in Heaven`s Light. Love you, my dear ones!
