Hi Maylene, Oh dear, such a sad story, you've lost your son, your grandson, your husband, and now Remi, I know how hard it is when you've had several losses, and I'm glad your with your daughter now. You sound so connected with Remi, I know how hard it is to lose something that you have a very special bond with, I think someone has to have had that to understand it. My Jasper went from Cushing's too, its a horrible disease, heartbreaking. I hope you find some peace in time, and I'm so very sorry for all your losses. Hugs Joan

I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Remi and my babies have all become good friends. Hi, please take comfort in knowing your baby is at the Bridge waiting on you, running and playing with the others. Clearly God loves animals. He filled the Garden of Eden with them, preserved them during the Flood, and expressed concern about the cattle of Nineveh at the end of the book of Jonah. He even makes the surprising statement in Proverbs 12:10 that righteousness includes treating our animals well. God undoubtedly created animals to be lessons for us. God Bless.... what an absolutely beautiful memorial, i know exactly how you feel. I lost my dearest friend tiny three years ago. but it always feels like it was only yesterday. tiny also has a memorial here. the only blessing we have Maylene, is that they never leave us, they are with us each and every day. their love is with us constantly and it is eternal. and we are indeed far better people for having known, loved , and cared for these wonderful friends. one thing we learn very early on. they are not pets, they are dear and precious close members of our family, i sincerely hope the time comes shortly that u can remember Remi with beautiful memories and not a tear. we will be with them again.
