“God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your sweet Rebel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this Joyous season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved fur-angel bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this season. Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, Momma, DJ & Patches mom)

Dear Fred~ I am so glad to know that Rebel was in heaven to welcome all the furry babies (cats and dogs alike) I have lost over the years. No one and no dog is ever gone if they are in our hearts and memories. Dariff

Fred....a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. She is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care.. just remember no matter how long they are gone we should never forget them...

Fred: I do hope you can find some peace in knowing that there are many people here who care about you and understand the hurt you still feel. I have had many furry friends in my 78 years but recently lost the sweetest, most lovable dog that I have had. Sissy and Rebel are probably best friends. As Mark Twain said "If dogs don't go to heaven, then I don't want to go either."

Hello Fred, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Rebel. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Rebel. Please find comfort in knowing that Rebel is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Rebel and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hello Rebel I see that you have been at Rainbowsbridge for a bit. I know that you are doing well and feeling great. You have places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when you need a break, meadows to lie in the sun. Take a minute to send Fred some kisses in his dreams. He misses you so much. If you run into a little cat with big ears named Finnbar give him a kiss for me. I'm still a little lost without him even after all of this time.

Your beautiful story of your precious Rebel brought tears to my eyes, and made me realize that we never forget the animals who go to the Rainbow Bridge ahead of us. I hope you will find comfort here among friends, and I am sure that Rebel has been watching over you all these years with love and thanks. May you treasure the memories.
