Patti, my wife and I recently lost our cocker to a brain tumor after 11 years. We have had many dogs but the last two have been the hardest and saddest to lose. Our recent puppy was Presley too. I am mourning his loss from a month ago today and found your messages here and they bring me both contentment and heartache. I am 71 now and have decided the loss of a pet is too heartbreaking. Thank you so very much for saying all the things I would say in epitaphs to our Presley. You are my guiding light to coping with my loss. God Bless you. .

Hi my sweet boy! I am sorry I missed your big day this year, but I think of you all the time and still miss you coming over to Grandmas house. I still have your big pillow on the couch so you could look out the window and watch the world go by! Wish you were here to help take care of Mommy. She could really use a big hug right now! Hi Presley, Another year has gone by too quickly. It will soon be three years since you left us, but it seems only yesterday. Mommy could have used you this past year to scare off an intruder who vandalized her (your) home. Thank goodness Mommy was OK. The police caught the person who was hiding in the basement. So scary for all of us. I'm sure you must have been watching over Mommy that kept her safe. I hope you have alot of friends there in Rainbo Heaven. Grandma misses you so much...Love you, Sweetie

Hi my sweet Presley. Doesn't seem like it's been two years today that you left us. I still have your pillow on the couch, and almost can see you lying there with your head hanging over the edge or sitting up looking out the front window watching the world go by. Hi Sweet Presley, Just dropping by to say Hi and to let you know how much I still miss you and love you. I've been a little out of commission the last few months, and am just now getting back to using the computer, so forgive me for not sending my love sooner. I still light a candle by your picture almost every night. I want you to know how special your Mommy is (altho you already know), but she has been such a blessing the last seven plus months, doing so much for me, when I wasn't able to do for myself. It is getting easier to say your name now without tears coming as fast as before, and the memories I have of you bring lots of smiles. I hope you are doing OK in Rainbow Heaven, Precious Presley. Hi, Sweetie, Just wanted to let you know I miss you so much and think of you all the time. I love the mugs Mommy gave me for my birthday with all the darling pictures of you on them. This is my first birthday you weren't here with Mommy and me, but I know you were here in spirit, laying on the kitchen floor watching me open up all the wonderful gifts from your Mom. I just know you helped her pick out the lottery scratch off tickets! (something that was always in an envelope from you) I light a candle everyday by your picture, and now the mugs. Honey, I wish I could somehow ease your feelings of guilt about letting Presley go. If Presley could have talked to you that day, I'm sure he would have told you that it was OK, and that he loved you for all you had done for him from the day he came into your life, and understood why it had to be on his last day with you. I'm crying right now after reading your latest message. I had no idea what you were going through that morning. I only wish I could have been there to help somehow. Presley, Grandma still thinks of you all the time , and misses you so much. I hope you have met alot of furry friends, and maybe have even met up with all your cousins, namely Kliene, Peppy, Tiki, Prince, Bruno, Scamper, Princess, and Pretzel!- Grandma's Doxie babies. Patti..Presley is a beautiful boy and that is why you had the dream that all is ok..It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both.For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever paw prints within us. He is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Presley. Please find comfort in knowing that Presley is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Presley and my babies have all become good friends. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye.When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Presley is waiting for you at the bridge along with Patches, happy and healthy.There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break,meadows to lie in the sun.He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope he's met Finn by now.He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch.
