Your story is so beautiful and so amazing. What a tough little girl and you so strong with her. COVID did do some of us a favor. I too had one like you a boy named Cujo a beautiful red and white Turkish Van who was sick but kept coming back because I knew he was not ready to go no matter what the docs said. In June he finally was at the end.We had a lot of time together. So I totally understand. He was 15 and I do know that they suffer like us so I sing his favorite song to him every day and he also sits beside my bed in his little chest. He does come to visit and brushes against my left leg when I am in the kitchen. I thank him and send him love all the time and he repays me by coming to visit. What a treasure. They love to hear us call their names no matter where they are. So talk and sing your love to the very beautiful and dear Poucette and she will come to you ...she is your own angel now guarding over you. She forgives anything you did not do so do not fret..

the beautiful memorial you have left for dear Poucette, speaks volumes, of your beautiful love for this precious girl. she may have left her sick, tired ageing body Olivier, but this sweet loving girl, will never leave you, she is with you unto eternity, the love you shared can never be taken away, it is with you always, i lost my precious tiny four years ago, and only now have i come to accept it. but he is still with me, he is part of me, as sweet poucette is part of you. and shall always be. i know your heartache, i know your sorrow. may the time come soon for you, when the lump in the throat, and the tear in your eye, is replaced by a smile, and the thought of the beautiful memories you shared. Poucette is still with you, olivier, she is part of you. and that shall always be. kindest regards

Hi Oliver. Poucette is beautiful, with a gentle, sweet face. I am so sorry for you loss. Reading your posted memory of her brought tears to my eyes as I reflect losing my own sweet girl this last June to cancer. It never ceases to amaze me how loving, comforting our fur babies are, giving 100% each and every day to us and helping see us through the worst of times. With them by our side we can feel peace, contentment. Losing them feels like a part of ourselves. Poucette was deeply loved and cherished. You and she formed a forever bond. I know the decision to let go is never easy. It is because we love so deeply that we are willing to take on the heartache that comes with saying goodbye. I hear your apology to Poucette. I feel guilt about my own slights with my little girl however, I also know our fur babies focus on our love for them, understanding and forgiving our inattentive slights. I hope in recalling your memories of Poucette you find peace, comfort and joy.

Dear Olivier, My heart is saddened with yours in the loss of Poucette. Having been an animal owner/lover all my life, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I do hope, with time, the sadness will ease and in its place will be joyful memories that will make you smile or laugh again when you think of Poucette. Blessings, Dianna

I am so sorry for your loss of Poucette. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Poucette that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Poucette and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Poucette continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. Dear Poucette, how purrfectly beautiful you are! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your daddy who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Olivier, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Poucette is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Callie, Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet presence continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Poucette will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Callie at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CALLI052/resident.HTM

For sweet Poucette, I know that during your lifetime you gave Olivier much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what Olivier wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Poucette, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Olivier, I just visited your Poucette's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Poucette would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Poucette. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).
