“God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your sweet Poofie, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that surround you this first Holiday Season without your beloved furbaby. My prayer for all of us this Joyous season, is that our babies will wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during this blessed season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved fur-angel bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this season. Best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, Momma, DJ & Patches mom)

David...Poofie is a beautiful girl and is very lucky to have you as her forever dad..a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. She is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Hello, pretty Poofie, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Daddy loves and misses you so...he made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and share kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Daddy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until he comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask he not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in his heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Daddy so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him too and are with him. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Daddy always, beloved Poofie. Pressy's Grandpa

Hello David, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Poofie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Dear David, What a beautiful tribute you wrote about Poofie. I am so sorry for your loss. Poofie sounded like a true companion. You and she were so blessed. I do believe that we will be reunited with our fur babies again. I hope that the sadness you are feeling now will be replaced by all the memories of all the good times shared. Take care. You are in my thoughts.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Poofie. Please find comfort in knowing that Poofie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Poofie and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear David I'm sorry for the loss of your Poofie. What a beautiful girl. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Poofie is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when she needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope she's met Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm

Your beautiful tribute to your precious Poofie brought tears to my eyes! I, too, had that kind of relationship with my Odie. I lost him at 19 years of age in Nov 2013, but to me it still wasn't enough time. Perhaps our two precious kitties have met up at the Rainbow Bridge, and are romping freely and watching over us today.

Poofie I am sorry for your loss. David loves and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge. Toni

Dear Poofie, you are purrfectly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your daddy who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear David, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Poofie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Poofie will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

Dear David - I am so sorry for your loss of Poofie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Poofie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Poofie and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Poofie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. For sweet Poofie, I know that during your lifetime you gave David much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what your Daddy wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Poofie I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For David, I just visited Poofie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Poofie would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little boy Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Poofie. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
