Eileen, I am so sorry for your loss of Pixie. I know from visiting your other babies at Rainbow Bridge that you gave her love and devotion, more than she would likely have gotten from another mommy with her poor anxiety and fear. How lucky she was to have you, to learn that there are good, wonderful people in this world who only want to comfort and love. I am so glad of that. Please accept my deepest condolences. Sincerely, Lauren If you’d like to visit Chili’s memorial, please go to: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CHILI001/Resident.htm

To precious Pixie, a new angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your new feather-soft guardian angel wings, you lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that your family here has helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow there shines even brighter for you now…An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could have ever been wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little Pixie... Rest well little one.

Eileen, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Pixie and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Pixie. Please find comfort in knowing that Pixie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. Spooky never met Hannah or Sammi but I am sure that Spooky greeted Hannah and Sammi at the bridge. I am sure that Pixie, Spooky, Hannah, and Sammi have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hello Eileen, I offer my sincere sympathy for your beautiful Pixie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Eileen.. what a beautiful tribute to your sweet girl. Please don't feel you failed her.. you were her angel! you rescued her from certain death.. she repaid you the only way she knew how but she knew she was safe with you. I too tried to rescue a dog with demons and I too had to end up sleeping in one room with him while my husband slept in another room with our other dogs.. who were not safe from the new dogs attacks. I didn't stick with it and I adopted him out. It didn't turn out well. But at least you tried and you succeeded where no one else did! Good for you! I am keeping you close to my heart as you deal with these two losses so close together. Godspeed sweet Pixie.. what a GOOD girl you are!

Dear Pixie, you are so beautiful! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Eileen, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Pixie, along with all your other precious ones, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet love continually hug your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Pixie and the others will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For Eileen, I just visited Pixie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Almost two years ago I lost my little boy Pedro. Just six months ago I adopted a wonderful little girl Cocker Spaniel named Keshet. Keshet was also abused by her former family so I understand how difficult it must have been for you and Pixie to readjust to each other. Obviously you are a very special person to have given Pixie such a warm and loving home. I am sure if asked, Pixie would have said that very day spent with you was a blessing. It looks like Pixie has lots of playmates at Rainbows Bridge. I hope that she will meet up with my Pedro and that they will become very good friends. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)

Dearest Pixie, your very name tells me you had a bit of spirit despite the terrible circumstances you fought through. Words are not enough but love can help - a lot. Eileen, bless you for what you do for your babies. If more people did what you do, we could save so many more.
