Well Pistol, your sister sweet Nala has joined you at the rainbow bridge. She was here visiting when she got sick. She was born here and came back here to leave us. Nala was such a sweet gentle cat. She and Heather enjoyed each other for 16 years. We will miss her but I glad she is with you.

Wow! I have never seen one of these before but I cried through the last 3/4 of it. I know exactly how you feel as I told you about my buddy who followed me around everywhere passing last month. If I had gone into detail about it I would have been tearing up too. Toby has a similar resting place under some shade trees with his favorite toy-the traveling sprinkler! Your post was beautiful and so are your furry family members. Healing takes time-a LOT of time! Each day should be a little tiny bit easier. God bless!

Hi, please take comfort in knowing your baby is at the Bridge waiting on you, running and playing with the others. Clearly God loves animals. He filled the Garden of Eden with them, preserved them during the Flood, and expressed concern about the cattle of Nineveh at the end of the book of Jonah. He even makes the surprising statement in Proverbs 12:10 that righteousness includes treating our animals well. God undoubtedly created animals to be lessons for us. God Bless.... John and Dianne, my sincere deepest condolences, i know what it is like to lose such a dear dear friend, i lost tiny three years ago, i had him for eighteen wonderful years, i had a real shock when i saw your beautiful photos of Pistol, because i thought i was looking at tiny, they are virtually identical. I feel sorry for people who do not know the love of these beautiful creatures, they give us so much, and ask so little. the love we give them, is returned tenfold. three years, and it seems like it was only yesterday, tiny is constantly in my thoughts, and i love him as much now as i did then. He has never left me, and he never shall. we shared a beautiful love with our dearest friends, and that love will always be with us. Pistol will always be with you, should you be able to visit tiny, i think you will be amazed at the similarity, they may have left their earthly bodies, but John, Dianne they will be with us forever , their love is eternal.

I am so sorry for your loss of Pistol. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Pistol that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Pistol and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Pistol continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

For sweet Pistol, I know that during your lifetime you gave John & Dianne much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what your Daddy wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Pistol, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For John & Dianne, I just visited your Pistol's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Pistol would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Pistol. Wishing you both all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

John and Dianne: In keeping that memory of when Pistol's eyes were still closed and sitting in your recliner and caressing that wonderful being, I have gifted that exact chair in loving memory. May those moments in time continue to enrich your soul while that connection was made and it will remain for an eternity. You have my heart during this painful process, I do understand your grief and I am deeply sorry for your loss.
