They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Dear Irene, all of your rainbow babies are beautiful. Now Paula has joined Harry and Mackie, and what a great time they are having up there in that beautiful meadow above us. They roam, chase, woof-woof, cuddle and nap, knowing all along that they will be reunited with their mommy someday. I know this is true because my two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, the lights of my life, are at the rainbow meadow, too. We will see our loved ones again someday, never to be parted for all of eternity. I wish you blessings of healing and peace, dear friend. You were, and always will be, a wonderful mommy for Paula, Harry and Mackie. I understand and care. Jane

My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Paula to her new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Paula the most, listen to your heart, her love and paw print are there.

Hello Irene, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Paula. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

Irene..a great tribute to a beautiful girl who has given you years of great friendship and memories. I have also visited Harry and Macky who have given you years of great memories of their own. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know Paula,Harry, and Macky are happy, healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph,Eva and friends while waiting for us to join them 'on the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

Paula - You were such a good companion to mom and she will miss you dearly! You are a precious lady and so beautiful! You have left your family many endearing memories! Send your family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Irene know that you have met up with Harry, Macky, and Daddy Gordon and that God has appointed all of you to be her guardian, protectors to watch over her until she is called to join you at the Bridge. To Irene - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of all your family. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Paula, you are so beautiful! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Irene, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Paula, along with Harry and Macky and their daddy, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

Irene, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Paula, Harry, Macky and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm
