I'm At RainbowsBridge.com for the first time. This afternoon I'm helping my Otis (Oatie, Otie, Oats) to Rainbow Bridge. He's the first furbaby I've had to help to the bridge, my first four-legged family member of my own in many many many years, first since my childhood. He's been my roommate, my best friend, my soulmate since May 22, 2015. We rescued each other when he was four years old and running the streets alone. I appreciated hearing about your Oat and his loving family. Jo (we sometimes were called Jotis - it was quicker to say than Jo and Otis)

Oh Otis, what a beautiful little one you are, who was so loved and adored by your beloved mommy, Denise and daddy, John. I know you are happy at the Bridge, and I am very glad of that. Please continue to look down on your mommy and daddy and send them messages of love. Please watch for my sweet dog, Chili (a chihuahua, like you?), who passed in late April. I am heartbroken without her and need someone to keep her company and safe until I arrive. Please kiss her and cuddle her for me. Your mommy, daddy and I love our baby's so, so much. We miss you beyond words and struggle to get through the days. We look forward to seeing you when our time comes to cross over. Please be there waiting, so we can scoop you up and rain down kisses upon your faces and hug your little bodies to us in joy. Sincerely, Lauren If you would care to visit my sweet girl, Chili, please go to: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CHILI001/Resident.htm

Hello Denise & John, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Otis. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

To precious Otis, a new angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your new feather-soft guardian angel wings, you lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored doggy naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that your family has helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow there shines even brighter for you now…An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could have ever been wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little Oat, rest well little one.

Denise and John, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Otis and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Dear Denise and John I'm sorry for the loss of your Otis. What a good looking guy. I lost my Finnbar last December.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye and I know how crippling the grief can be.When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Otis is waiting for you at the bridge, happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when he needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope he's met Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/FINNB001/Resident.htm

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Otis. Please find comfort in knowing that Otis is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my cats, Sammi went to Rainbows Bridge. Spooky never met Hannah or Sammi but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah and Sammi at the bridge. I am sure that Otis, Spooky, Hannah, and Sammi have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Otis, you are so handsome! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mama and daddy who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Denise and John, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Otis is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your hearts until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Otis will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For sweet Otis, I know that during your lifetime you gave Denise & John much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Denise & John wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Otis I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Denise & John, I just visited Otis' Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Otis would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little boy Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Otis. Wishing you both all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)

Hello, handsome Otis, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mama loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mama feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for her until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mama so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mama always, beloved Otis. Pressy's Grandpa
