DEAR RICHARD, I JUST READ ABOUT YOUR LIL BOY AND WHAT AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE YOU HAD TO HAVE FOUND HIM IN WINTER AND GIVE HIM A HOME AND LIFE NEITHER OF YOU COULD DREAM OF. HE LIVED MUCH LONGER WITH YOU THEN IF HE WERE IN THE OUTDOORS SO KNOW IN YOUR HEART YOU DID ALL YOU COULD. HE WAS VERY LUCKY AS WERE YOU. OUR OREO PASSSED AWAY AUG. 17, 2021 AFTER 16 YEARS. WE ALSO HAVE FRACTURED HEARTS AS SHE WAS SO MUCH OUR LIL GIRL. ...BUT......WE ALSO KNOW THAT ANIMALS DO NOT HAVE THE LIFE SPAN WE HAVE AND THE DAY COMES TO SAY THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY LIFE AND LETTING ME IN YOUR HEART. OUR OREO IS WELL NOW AS IS YOURS OVER THE RAINBOW BRIDGE AND WE WILL MEET AGAIN SO NOW IT IS, "LET GO AND LET GOD". CAROLE & BILL

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CREATURE CAME INTO YOUR LIFE IN A UNIQUE WAY. HE HAD THE LIFE OF A LITLE KING AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND HOW YOU LOVED HIM. BUT WE ARE ONLY GIVEN OUR LITTLE ONES A SHORT TIME. OUR OREO WAS A DOG OF 16 YEARS AND PASSED AUG. 17, 21. WE ARE STILL SO HEARTSICK. BUT OUR KIDS ARE SAFE NOW.

Dear Oreo, You may have noticed a female who looks just like you showing up at the Bridge, her name is Molli. She was called away unexpectedly and we, along with Her Sister Fran are missing her deeply. Molli is extremely caring, kind, and sweet...and She is so patient, She won't steal your food. Give your Daddy a sign you are doing well. Dear Rich, It actually slowed my tears when I saw the pics of your Sweet Oreo. Ohhh, the stories they can swap. I hope, in time, we both can smile once again. Take care. Leaving Forget me notes as a symbol and reminder.

Hi, Rich this is Babie J's mama from the Rainbow Bridge Ceremony. Saw your precious Oreo's memorial. Ever since I lost my girl, I have attended the service and will until I take my last breath. I know your Oreo and my Babie J are best at friends at the bridge. Love the pictures of Oreo, he is so handsome. Hugs, Linda

Oh he is so adorable and your story is so very special and really is a miracle that he found you! So lucky you are. I am so glad you had him for so many good years. It was a meant to be thing. I am so very sorry he had to go. But you made him happy and he lived longer with you than he ever would have. I too just lost my angel kitty and I talk and sing to him every day. He was my angel boy, he had a brother who passed the year before so times have been tough. But they are with me I can feel it and so I talk to them all the time. They are now our angels watching and guarding over us until we can hold them again never to part!! I love the name you gave him so perfect!! He is your baby and is always around you. I pray you will both continue to talk and connect over the years and that your tears will soon be smiles as you realize what a wonderful miracle you have had and as you remember all the incredible times you had together.. Be well. God bless you and Oreo!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Oreo. Please find comfort in knowing that Oreo is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. I am sure that Oreo and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
