They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish used to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them... and always will. – Author unknown

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the happiest of memories of your sweet Nutty, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face, be the ones that fall as gently as winter's delicate snow in your mind this year. This is the first December holiday season that your baby will celebrate at the Rainbow, with such child-like fascination at all the events there this month! May each of your love-filled memories of your baby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one little "gift" your fur-baby angel would want for you this year.... May God bless you and your entire family this Holiday Season. With best wishes, Karen....Dusty's mom....NJ http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Joyce and Tim, I know you two have been through a lot this last year. I am very sorry for your loss. I will miss Nutty, She was full of personality and BARK!!! I know how close I am to my two dogs and will be inconsolable when we lose them. I cannot imagine the pain you two are going through at this time. I wish you both the best and a healthy, happy and quick recovery from the challenges you have had over the last year. Love you and thinking of you!

Dear Joyce and Tim, I am saddened by the overwhelming loss of your beloved Nutty. I know how much she was loved. When Joyce and I would speak over the phone, I could hear her talking to Nutty with such a sweet, kind voice. Please know that I am praying for you during your time of immense grief. I love you!~Moonie

Joyce & Tim, I am so sorry to hear abt this. I am sure that Nut is in a good place & is happy. Meanwhile, Joyce, dear, there is always a rainbow behind every storm. I will pray and hope that the beautiful rainbow will come soon. God bless everyone in the household. Take care!

This is to Nut, you sweet little girl angel now...I can just see you when you crossed over to the Rainbow, where your health, youth and vigor were instantly renewed for you...When you walked through the doggy door at the Rainbow, I'm so very sure that Samantha, oh she just alerted right up! Nose in Air, and Tail Wagging, she went running to greet you as she immediately recognized all the scents from home you carried with you to the Rainbow! I'm sure there was the happiest of Reunions for the two of you and that you two will romp and play often in the green meadows there at the Rainbow...Remember, you both now have a job to do! And that is to make Joyce and Tim feel your guardian angelic presence in their lives "twice as much" now, as both you, Nut, and Samantha are their rainbow angels watching over them now...So send lots of kisses to them both, and visit often in their dreams...visit gently and often in their dreams...

Good morning Nut welcome to Rainbows Birdge where you are now with your sister Sam and you two can run the meadows together, I know you guys are looking down on your family here and I can tell by their love story to you that they are very sad. You see Nut even though we know that you are much better off and are restored t eternal good health it is still very hard on us humans to loose our furchildren, so when you get a chance send your family a sign to let them know that you are with them always just inside their hearts. I am so very sorry for your loss. I recently lost Madeline, my precious furbaby. I know the pain you are feeling. I will pray for your pain to ease. I lost a golden retriever to stomach cancer 4 years ago, and it was the hardest time for me. Nut, I will tell my Maddie to come play with you, and keep you company. May God Bless Your Family. I am saddened to hear of Nuts passing. I will always remember the great times Sandy and I had watching her do the flyball with you waiting with the treats at the finish line. She always met me at the door and I'll miss that. Will keep you in my prayers. I am so happy you adopted Ranger. He will love, comfort, and support you. Love, Aunt Jackey

Joyce - Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your baby. I've had to have several of my babies put down also, so I know how very hard it is. I believe our babies know we will always carry them in our hearts. And if we do happen to get another baby (as most of us do) they know it's because they taught us how to love, and it makes them smile. ((hugs)) Karen If you would like, you can visit my baby at-http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CALLI012/Resident.htm

Ya'll I am so sorry to hear of your loss; both of your losses. How unfair! You know that Nut knew that you loved her and cherished her and that is so important. Nut knows you did everything you could and if you could have taken away the pain and badness, you would have. God Bless you both for being such fabulous dog lovers.

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on. Pat Lively
