"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Nomie bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Melissa I am truly sorry for your loss of your Nomie. I went through the same thing with my Navit seven months ago. She got sick and wasn't eating. And lost weight and looked so sad. And the vet couldn't do anymore for her. And told me it was time. And the look in my Navits' eyes told me it was time too. I know exactly what you went through. It was the worst day of my life. But I had to let her go and be without any more pain. It is still unbearably hard for me still. But we have to let them go when it is time. And we can't let them suffer. Just remember all the wonderful memories you had with Nomie. And know she loves you. I am sure Nomie and Navit are great friends now at the bridge. And we will see them again one day. If you ever need anyone to talk to please email me anytime. God bless you in this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Nomie. Please find comfort in knowing that Nomie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Nomie and Spooky have become good friends. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Hello Melissa, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Nomie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

To Nomie, a precious angel at the Rainbow... I’m sure that with your feather-soft guardian angel wings, you now so lovingly watch over your family back here. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored cat naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that Melissa and all those who loved you back here have helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could have ever been wished for you? What more could have ever been wished...Rest well, little one.

Nomie, reading your story brought tears to my eyes, I felt like I was reading the story about my Dixie-Kitty. You both have so much in common, and I know she was there to welcome you to the Bridge. She can be visited at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/DIXIE073/Resident.htm I hope you send your mommy love from there, as I know she loves and misses you so much! Until you are reunited again for always, Blessed Be!

Melissa, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Nomie and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Hello, precious Nomie. We're sorry we've not visited sooner but we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty who plays in golden sunbeams and chases bright rainbows and colorful meadow butterflies with you. Pressy told us about you and asked her family to visit sweet kitty playmate Nomie. She said you share kitty love headbumps and she taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw when gentle breezes blow. Pressy said you send love signs to tell her you're in Paradise meadow watching over her waiting until she comes for you to cross Rainbow Bridge to be together forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved Nomie. Pressy's Grandpa

What a pretty cat Nomie is. I know how hard it is to say goodbye. No matter how long we have our furbabies it's never long enough. The bridge sounds like such a wonderful place. I know Nomie is having a great time..all the while keeping an eye on you. I hope that NMike has run into my Finn. He's very friendly so I'm sure they've become friends. Its a nice thought. From: Clare and Martha
On: 1/27/13

Dear Nomie, you are purrfectly gorgeous! Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Melissa, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Nomie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM
