Please accept my heartfelt sympathies for the loss of Nanook. Your memorial page is beautiful and 100% true of huskys. I am a husky lover myself and had 4 at once. I have lost all 3 of my originals within 9mos. They were pups together, grew up and old together and what a joy! I have a pup I kept from the 2 middle ones, she is now 7.8 and I am so glad I kept her as her parents live on thru her. May God Bless you and your husky family

Nanook was an amazing part of your family and is missed a great deal. He was a true leader and watched over his family always. Keeping up until the very end with all that goes into making a family and keeping them safe and happy. He was a true hero to his family both human and animal.Your description of his passing just goes to show you how connected we all really are, if we just take the time to listen. I know your heart has been heavy since his passing the Rainbow Bridge but he is free and with his other family now. There is no greater pain than losing someone you truly love and that is why there was so much pain for all of you. What a great tribute you have made to a "Leader of the Pack". Love, Mom

Stephan, I am sorry for the loss of your sweet angel Nanook. Oh yes, he is the alpha and had quite the life as one. Now that he has transitioned, he certainly met up with the other pack members and is happy to be whole again. I hope he meets up with my Murphy who is also an alpha dog, so they can run together in the warm sunshine.♥

Stephan, I am sorry to know about your leader Nanook. What a wonderful story you wrote of his life and his final moments in your living room. It was truly moving. I do believe you are right about the others in the pack were taking part in this beautiful ceremony of great loss. All dogs are pack animals and your pack lost their leader. For you and your pack, I am sending you thoughts of much strength in the days that follow. I know they will be of great change and adjustment.

Dear Stephan, I understand this is a sad time for you I too know the heartbreak of losing a beloved friend and constant companion having lost my beloved Bob Barker on August 28, 2017...so I understand how much you miss Nanook. Just remember that it is never really “Goodbye”, just “Until we’re together again”! And I pray that this thought will give your heart comfort and peace in the days to come when you think of your sweet Nanook… Now Nanook waits for you to sleep at night and dream of him. His love continues to cross the Rainbow bridge and come to you all the time. My pups and I are sending you very – very special loving thoughts, prayers, positive energy, and petitioning the Universe to ease your heart pain and give you peace in the knowledge that you will see your little one again one day and that for now your sweet Nanook is but a dream away… You can visit Bob Barker at: https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BOBBA002/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Nanook. Please find comfort in knowing that Nanook is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. On 1/3/18 my little cat Zoe passed away. I am sure that Nanook and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Stephen, I also will never be convinced that our canine friends don't have souls and have witnessed what you described in Nanook's memorial about dogs know when a passing of one of the pack is taking place. Although my two are different breeds, one dachshund and one lab, they will miss each other tremendously and mourn their passing as we will. I do hope, with time, your sadness will lessen and you will be comforted by the wonderful thoughts that Nanook is now leading the pack at The Bridge. Blessings.

Stephan that must have been such an emotional journey sending off Nanook to the Rainbow Bridge. All the Huskies howling and then silence... they knew their Nanook was never going to feel pain again and could run free over the Rainbow Bridge to meet all of our furbabies waiting for him. What a beautiful, unselfish, and humane gift for Nanook who was loved so dearly. May your Huskies and memories comfort you at this immeasurably sad time in your life. ♥️🐶🐾💔🌈

I am so sorry for your loss of Nanook. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Nanook that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Nanook and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Nanook continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. Stephan- May you be sustained throughout this emotionally draining time as you reflect on a very special friend, Nanook. Losing a valuable soul is difficult and you've experienced multiple losses in a brief period of time, I am so deeply sorry. Your life likely feels rearranged without your permission. Honor him, celebrate and remember your amazing friend. Isn't it an honor as they walk as part of their lives with us? I've left a gift of blankets for the loves of your life-snuggle forever...

Hello, handsome Nanook, welcome to Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to help your meadow Husky family welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom and Dad feel your loving presence and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're yet another guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with furangels but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them and are with them. Soar among clouds with Nikki on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom and Dad always, beloved sweet Nanook. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Nanook, you are truly handsome. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your family who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Stephan, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Nanook, along with your other precious ones, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May their sweet presence continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Nanook and the others will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

For sweet Nanook, I know that during your lifetime you gave Stephan much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what your Dad wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Nanook, I have another wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Stephan, I just visited your Nanook's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Nanook would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Nanook. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).
