Laurie, your tribute to sweet Maxie touched me. I loved reading about her determination to follow Pooh up to the highest areas; she must have been the sweetest and most affectionate baby. Although it's easier said than done, I hope you are doing well in the absence of your beloved fur babies. Make sure to take care of yourself, just as you did for all of them! Wishing you the best and sending love ❤️

Laurie, I had the same situation with my kitty Scooter. I learned he was a boy when I took him for his shots. I had picked out the name Tinkerbelle and had even put a pink collar on him, so I quickly changed it but later renamed him Scooter. Your Maxie was a beautiful girl.

Me again Laurie, Maxie that is hysterical that you were a girl. One of my babies from many years ago was abandoned by her mom in our basement stairwell window. Oliver North was the big thing going on so I named "him" after Oliver North and we called "him" Ollie. Like you, when we went to the vet to get "him" fixed the vet said "this is a girl", We would tell people who asked that her name was Hollie, but the H was silent...so she stayed Ollie. Maxie please find Rudy, my baby boy cat who left us almost 2 months ago. He needs lots of friends. Hugs and kisses Bunny

Hello Maxie I was just visiting some of my Princess's friends at the bridge and came across you I just wanted to stop in for a minute to say hello and to tell you and each of you precious babies that you are loved and thought of each and everyday in some very special way no matter how long you have been gone to the bridge.

Maxie - You may not have been Miss Grace Kitty, but you are certainly a beauty with that pink collar. Even though there is no furniture in paradise, there are a lot of places to play hide and seek at the meadow, so you enjoy yourself. If you find my Brande be sure and tell her I love her!

Good Morning, pretty Maxie. Your Mom made you such a beautiful place at Rainbow Bridge and wrote us wonderful stories about her life with you. She loves and misses you very much. We're sorry we've not visited sooner but we just learned about you, pretty little girl. When you and your doggie and kitty brothers and sisters gathered to welcome your little brother Diarmid to the meadow, our little old gray lady kitty met you all and told us about you. We hope you and Pressy are now playmates chasing butterflies and crickets and taking naps together in the bright Paradise meadow. She'll teach you how to send love signs on the wind to Mom so she'll hear your purrs and feel the gentle touch of your paw again on her cheek in the evening breezes. All of Mom's meadow furbabies are together to watch over her as guardian angels. Be sure to smile down on her often so she'll feel the warmth of your love and know you're with her always. Rest well, beloved Maxie. Pressy's Grandpa

Miss Maxie - You are the queen of a girl and the apple of your mommy's eye! Watch for Diarmid and help him stay close to all the family until he gets familiar with the meadow. I will tell my Brande to play with you, and all of you send Mommy a message that you all are the guardian angels to watch over her until she gets to the Bridge.

Play safely little one, and run free as the winds.
