This is a lovely tribute to a beloved faithful friend - I'm certain Max would be honored. I too lost a beloved pet who I had to let go too soon, it was hard holding him as he slipped away. He never let me down and his friendship is never forgotten. Rest well faithful friends until we can meet again...

I'm so sorry for your loss, Max sounded wonderful. I too let go of my Gunner at the vet, with his head resting in my lap, his brown eyes looking up at me. It was the most difficult thing I have ever done, but despite the pain, the best thing I could have done to stay with my friend until the end, seeing him on his way to the Rainbow Bridge, and the happiness of Emerald Valley to wait there for me. Good luck, Michal

I am so sorry for your loss. I too lost my precious dobie Newby suddenly without any hint of anything wrong. In fact, he had just had his annual check-up. He was just 5 1/2 years old. I will always treasure that time as I know you will with Max. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

A CHRISTMAS WISH FOR THE ANIMALS - If I could wish upon a star and travel to the place right where you are, I would climb the Bridge on Christmas Eve and take my turn to wait. To wait right there at Rainbow's Gate, To have a chance to visit you . I would hug you tight and be so thankful that very night to have a chance to see you well and happy too. Your eyes so bright, your coat so fine. You have gotten younger over time. We could talk about the days gone by and then the day I had to cry. You could assure me you will be right there when I too will open Heavens Door. Its just a dream I know, I can not come until its time . Until then, just know, I will close my eyes this Christmas Eve and think of you. We will be together again and when I arrive, we will never ever have to part. MERRY CHRISTMAS (By Gloria Childers)

Hello Max-you were a handsome fellow, and what a grand picture just for your Michal--i'm sorry i'm late saying hi, as my little guy Caleb is only here since Oct., and there are so many furbabies to check on. You have probably met him by now, as he seemed to be a favorite of the bigger dogs he met--my brother has a Doberman named panser, that looks exactly like you, and he loved Caleb.By now,you have probably also left your Michal know how beautiful it is there in the meadow, and you are once again young, healthy, and happy once more. You certainly deserved to have more time with your daddy, and he with you.The two of you together have probably made many precious memories for him. You are his Guardian Angel, and one more brightly shining star in the Heavens, that will draw his eyes skywards and he will know its' you.So till you are reunited once more, play safely and rest well. have fun with all your furbaby friends, both old and new.
