Mooie, I cried when I first heard your story and I still cry after reading it again today, many years later. I wish the angels could have found you sooner and saved but I know that you are with them forever now and no one can hurt you ever again. All my furbabies and myself wish you peace and happiness. It's just horrific what people can do to animals. It is also horrific what people can do to unborn babies. Where is the outcry on murduring a baby. Both are evil. I wouldn't even dream of ever hurting my dog or unborn child.

My heart is so sad as I wipe away tears looking at your sweet face, you did not deserve such cruel treatment. The only justice for who did this to you would be the same! I will give my sweet boy an extra hug for you...

Every tragic case like Mooie's diminishes us all. We do need to remember them, if we have a chance to stop this from happening. Bless your soul Mooie, and those of the humans whose souls were enlarged by helping you-even if it was to the Rainbow Bridge where you will never know pain again.

Mooie-I'm so sorry you had to suffer so much through no fault of your own. These depraved guys should never be allowed access to anything. Let them feel the burning of acid.

Mooie, I've save two pitties and my publisher another two from certain death in animal control facilities. We wish we could have saved you as well. I'm so sorry for what happened to you and for what unfortunately continues to happen to others of your breed everyday. Run free under the Rainbow Bridge. For sure, I'd rather be there than the Pearly Gates.

I'm so sorry that Mooie's abuser was never found, but if one dog or puppy is saved by learning from this poor girl's plight, then I think Mooie's death was not in vain. Fight against animal abuse in all it's forms. To love an animal is to gain peace and enlightenment for your soul. And let's not forget the laughs! Be well Mooie, I hope to see you on the other side.

When I read the article about Mooie I was hoping to see that she survived and is doing well. Unfortunately that was not the case. My heart is so sad that she died. I have been a supporter of Pasado's for years and will continue to support their great efforts on behalf of animals.

Hi sweet Mooie. The ignorance of people will never be understood. Your mommy loves you so much. Play and laugh so hard, you deserve it little one! Please look for my Lilly who just joined the bridge on 4/29. She knows the prejudice of Pit Bulls. Dear Janet, I am so very sorry. When I first got Lilly, she was red and fat and scrunched up. The vet put red heeler x on her record. I asked, isn't she a pit too? He told me not to have that on her record. People would always ask me at the dog park if she had Pit in her..I didnt know, but proudly said yes and she had good citizens as well. That still made some people leave. She was so sumbissive. My little terrior (18lbs) (still here) was the boss over this 60lb dog! Thank you for helping other Pit Bulls and arise awareness. I am looking at Pit Bull resues for when the time comes and I am truly ready to resuce another baby. You are wonderful!, Debbie, Sonoma, Ca
