Reading through the memorials to see if anyone feels what I feel, to see if it gets easier with time, to see if it is something I can get over. I lost my Max last month and I am completely lost. I am so sorry about your Millie - she looks so much like my Maxie Paxie. Maybe they have made friends at the rainbow bridge and are playing together while they wait for us. I hope your pain becomes bearable soon and that your happy memories of Millie becomes just that - happy.

Hello Gill, As time passes and you begin to reflect on memories of your beautiful Millie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Millie. Please find comfort in knowing that Millie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Millie and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Gill, As a dog-lover I was touched by your story of Millie. I have seen the devastating effects of Parvo in the kennels of UK`s Battersea Cats/Dogs Home where I worked. It is amazing Cara survived! It must have been your love that pulled her through - enabling her to share 12 years of life with you. You had faith for her that she was meant to be with you. Thanks to your Vet`s skills and your love for her she survived. But when it is time to leave this life there is nothing you can do. It is out of your hands and into God`s warm embrace in Heaven where your Cara is young again and, no doubt, finding another red ball to chase around. It will take time for you to heal from your loss after so many years with Cara. Bonds of love between you that have been created over 12 years can never be broken - extending into the happy place where she now awaits your re-union with her - one day. In Eternity our lives are but a moment and it will seem to both of you that you have never really been apart.

Gill- What an exceptionally touching tribute to your best friend, Millie, who despite a very rough start in life, was able to pull through and live out a dozen wonderful years. May memories of your trampled garden bring a gentle smile and comfort during these difficult days. Simply knowing the abundance of flowers and red balls at Rainbow Bridge are plentiful will continue Millie's passions for an eternity.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Millie. What a beautiful girl. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I lost my Rocky in March. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Millie is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when she needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope she's met my boys by now.Finn is a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and Rocky is the sweetest gentle giant. If you would care to visit my guys http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Rocky303/Resident.htm

Dear Gill, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Millie. She was such a beautiful Girl and obviously deeply loved. She was quite the survivor. You gave her such a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial ceremony. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Millie will continually provide you with comfort, She will live in your hearts and memories forever. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

Millie I am sorry for your loss. Gill loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss of Millie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Millie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Millie and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Millie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Dear Millie, you are truly beautiful. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your dad who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Gill, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Millie is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Millie will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM
