Hi. Loved reading your story, and looking at your pics? Is the other dog a whippet or greyhound? Take care...and I hope you are doing okay. Losing a dog is often tougher than losing a human friend. :(

Steven, I'm so sorry for your loss of your precious Mika. As you cherish and remember every memory and moment, please be comforted and know that your Mika is at the Rainbow Bridge meeting many new friends including my Bailey. The Bridge kids will be with your fur-angel in the beautiful Paradise Meadow. My thoughts are with you, and I'm leaving flowers to comfort you... God Bless...

Steven, I am sorry to know about your sweet little girl Mika. What a beautiful story and picture album you set up in Mika's honor. I can tell you had a very special bond with her. I know how hard it is to make the decision to let your baby go. I had to do the same with my Baby Bee. She was to tired. Her quality of life had declined. Had had to gift her the hardest gift ever. On that day, I ended her struggles and mine began. It was a trade. I also live this new journey you are on now. Sending you much strength in the days that follow. And yes, when the time is right your Mika and Benny will be right there at the bridge waiting for you, it will be the very last tear you will wipe from your face.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Mika. Please find comfort in knowing that Mika is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. On 1/3/18 my little cat Zoe passed away. I am sure that Mika and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Steven, I understand this is a sad time for you I too know the heartbreak of losing a beloved friend and constant companion having lost my beloved Bob Barker on August 28, 2017...so I understand how much you miss Mika. Just remember that it is never really “Goodbye”, just “Until we’re together again”! And I pray that this thought will give your heart comfort and peace in the days to come when you think of your sweet Mika… Now Mika waits for you to sleep at night and dream of her. Her love continues to cross the Rainbow bridge and come to you all the time. My pups and I are sending you very – very special loving thoughts, prayers, positive energy, and petitioning the Universe to ease your heart pain and give you peace in the knowledge that you will see your little one again one day and that for now your sweet Mika is but a dream away… You can visit Bob Barker at: https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BOBBA002/Resident.htm

Mika I am sorry for your loss. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss of Mika. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Mika that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Mika and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Mika continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Mika fué muy especial, casi un humano, pero de los buenos. Inteligente, leal y cariñosa, imposible de no quererla. Que en paz descanse.

I will always remember Mika as a sweet, happy, loving dog who adored her human daddy. You could tell there was a special bond between the two. She was an elegant little lady. Mika will be missed but has a family waiting for her and will be loved. Steve you gave her a wonderful, happy life here. No dog along with Benny could have been loved and cared any better. There are special rewards for kind animal parents like you. Love you. You are in my thoughts always.

Steve, I am so sorry for your loss. You were such a good dad and brought as much joy to her life as she brought to yours. She was so lucky to call you her dad. ❤️

Seeing the pictures with you and the "kids" all together is so precious. When I think of Mika the words majestic and beautiful come to mind. She was a queen of dogs, royal and loyal companion. She loved you and you her. You couldn't be a better example of a loving, caring, and thoughtful daddy to your girl and to Benny. My love and thoughts are with you. Love Melody

Mika, your loss is so monumental to your dad, but we know a lady always knows when it’s time to leave. Your dad loves you to such great depths, more than most could ever fathom. I hope your transition was easy and your pain was bearable. Be free and frolic and chase some critters in your afterlife.........

Dear Cousin, I can’t begin to express my sorrow for your loss. I know how much Mika meant to you. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but she seemed like the perfect companion. I do hope she joins forces with Benny and my Sammy and Jody! Hugs. Love you, Yvonne
