Dear Middy, I feel selfish having waited so long to write something meaningful. I guess your passing reminded me that my own old man was getting older and time is short. It was too close to my heart. It hurt to see you gone. You leaving this world was something that seemed would never happen. You were too sweet and too kindhearted to ever need to leave us. A permanent sun in our lives. I remember when you came home and how you tripped over your ears when you ran. I remember the licking contests with my mom and brother. I remember walking you, playing with you, and you always greeting me at the door. You lived a long time for a dog your size and you loved to be with your family. I remember yelling at you one time for something and you hid under the table until I called for you to come out. It broke my heart that I made you feel sad. You were our little girl. Love to you Middy. We miss you.

Tribute to a Pet… God looked around His garden And He found an empty place. And then He looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put His arms around you, And lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain, He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough, And the hills were hard to climb, So He closed your weary eyelids, And whispered "Peace be thine." It broke my heart to lose you. But you didn't go alone, For part of me went with you, The day God called you home. ~author unknown~ Blessings.. Joyce

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Middy. Please find comfort in knowing that Middy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Middy and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Dear Diane I'm sorry for the loss of your Middy. What a beautiful tribute for a beautiful girl. I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Middy is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when she needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope she's met Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and he can catch. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm

Hello Diane, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Middy. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Middy beautiful girl. I am sorry for your loss. Diane loves and misses you very much. She wrote a beautiful story about you. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. No more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge. Toni

For sweet Middy, I know that during your lifetime you gave Diane much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Diane wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Middy I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Diane, I just visited Middy's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Middy would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little boy Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Middy. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)

Hello, pretty Middy, welcome to the meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved sweet baby girl. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Middy, you are truly cherished. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Diane, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Middy is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Middy will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM
