"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Marilyn, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your very heart, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this special season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty & DJ's mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

I am so sorry for your loss. You gave Marilyn such a wonderful, loving home, after being left by her previous owners. Try to remember all the good times, I made a scrapbook when my cat of 17 years died of old age at home. There are no words, just time will ease the pain and loss. I'm so sorry :(

We are all so sad to hear about Ms Marilyn, we all loved her too! The only thing I can say to try and make you feel better is that you guys gave here the best care and love she could have asked for. And at least you guys were with her in the end, and Im sure thats what counts. We love you both, take it easy.

I am so sorry about your furbaby. At least she didnt suffer. Don't know what's harder. Having to deal with putting them down because of their pain,,or not having said goodbye. I know how hard it is, and I am sorry. Deb

Joe & Nat - I am near tears reading this. I have a little kitty of my own and his name is Poo-Bah, but I call him everything from Mr. Poo to Buddy! I couldn't help but think about him as I read this. The vet recently told me he has a heart murmur. Being a Gi-Normous animal lover myself, I know what it's like to really love your pet, to have a special bond with a friend who luvs you unconditionally. Even though I get aggravated because he's such a shedder and his hair get everywhere, when he jumps in my lap and puts his little paw on my arm and snuggles his head close to me, I can't help but feel that he's the cutest thing ever and luvs me to no end! Your Marilyn was such a beautiful little cat and she was so lucky that you guys found her and gave her a wonderful and caring home full of love and understanding. I know you are grieving her loss and the pain is very real. But know that her little kitty spirit will live forever in your hearts and she will always be with you.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

To precious Marilyn, one of the prettiest cats I've ever seen! Though you are going to miss your family back here, I just know you've had a chance to look around for the coziest & softest places to take your warm Rainbow-colored kitty cat-naps, haven't you... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that your family has actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even more beautifully for you now, doesn't it sweet baby! An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... Maybe the Angels now brush and stoke your fur for you everyday... And sweetie, you now find rest in the Arms of the Angels there in Heaven...what more could your family have ever wished for you? What more could they have ever wished....

I just read the touching story about your baby, Marilyn. What a beautiful baby. She knew that at some point in time, you would take her into your lives & give her the kind of home she deserved. Marilyn, take time out of your fun filled days to send your mommy & daddy some purrs so they know you are OK. When you are done, go find all our of babies. There are a lot of them at the Bridge. They will play with you & keep you safe & warm. Natalie & Joe...you gave her a wonderful home & lots of love. Your hearts will ache for a long time. Your other babies will miss her but she will send them her love & guidance. When you are ready, you may visit our babies sites. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/COLE002/resident.htm You will also find a site for the kitties(Pfeifles babies) Marilyn is at peace & that is important. You are in our thoughts.

Hello, pretty little Marilyn, welcome to the forever sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place at RB and wrote wonderful words about you. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and share kitty headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind to Mom and Dad...signs to home kitties too!...so they hear your lip smacks and purrs and feel a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle evening breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but remember you're curled up deep in their hearts forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mom and Dad so they feel the warmth of your love and know you miss them too. Soar high among the clouds on your silvery new angel wings to watch over Mom and Dad always, beloved Calico Kitty. Pressy's Grandpa

What a beautiful calico. Marilyn was such a dear furry baby. She looks so much like a calico I had and loved, my Butterkup. God bless you for taking this whiskered angel in. I love your song. God bless Marilyn on RB with my China Blue.

What a beautiful love story to your sweet Marilyn I hope you can find some comfort in the knowing that she is with the angels in perfect health enjoying the beautiful sunshine in the meadows with all our babies, and when it is your time to cross that bridge she will be there waiting for you and until then she lives deep inside your hearts.

Marilyn, what a purrfectly lovely little girl you are! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mommy and daddy who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Natalie & Joe, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, and heaven has gained a very special soul. Marilyn is now your very own kitty angel, watching over and for you, just as BG is watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually nuzzle your hearts until then. Clare & Martha
