"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved little Maggie bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Hello Rolande, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Maggie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Maggie. Please find comfort in knowing that Maggie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Maggie, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Rolande, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Maggie and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Rolande, I know Maggie was your world and you miss her so much. Just remember you gave her the best life she could have asked for. When you get sad and need her - just think of all the good things about her. Maggie is in your heart and will always be a part of you. love you, Julie

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

Oh Maggie.. your mommy loves you so much! Please look down on her and let her know that it was your time. You couldn't bear one more minute with the pain and she did the right thing. She saved you, didn't she? First when you met and then again when she made the decision to send you to the meadow. God knew that she had the love to care for you even when she was sacrificing everything to make sure you weren't in pain anymore. Now you are in a wonderful place Maggie... you have all the food you could eat, cookies, toys, friends... oh so many new friends. Please say hello to my Gabriel. He went to the meadow just over a week ago. Maggie, you will forever be in our hearts. Please visit your Mommy often and warm her with your love and remind her that you are just waiting for her.

My heart goes out to you at Maggie's crossing over the bridge. Both of my furbabies have crossed over in just a little over two years. The tears still flow freely when I think of them. It becomes somewhat easier, but our love for them is so great and binding that they take a piece of our hearts with them. I know that my God would not have made a Heaven that would not have a place for my Willy and Daniel. I live for the day that they will purr in my arms again. I know that they were there to greet Maggie. I hope that she enjoys the sunlight as much as my boys did. For I believe that there is great joy and freedom there. I know that they are our guardian angels and watch over us, jumping and running in the beautiful meadows. May your heart begin to heal and know peace, and may you begin to find bittersweet joy in the wonderful memories of your beloved baby. I have left an angel for Maggie. I will pray for your continued healing until we all meet again. God Bless You.
