Hi Debbie, this is Lynne from South Australia. I have just visted Maddie's Memorial and your words made me cry. I recently had to have my daugher, best friend and soul mate Topsy put to sleep and although that was 4th January 2022, I didnt find this website until a couple of months ago. I decided to scroll through all the Australian Memorials and write to the parents of the furr/feathered children who meant so much. You are right that you only get one soulmate. I have other furr children and love them dearly, but there will never be another Topsy. Take care, Debbie, Lynne x

Hello Debbie, As time passes and you begin to reflect on memories of your beautiful Maddie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

I'm sorry for the loss of your beloved Maddie. I lost my Ginger to lymphoma she was only 6, I miss her everyday. We must take comfort in our memories, knowing both Maddie and Ginger are happy and healthy, waiting for the day when we will all be together again. I'm enclosing an Angel to watch over our babies.

I am so sorry for your loss of Maddie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Maddie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Maddie and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Maddie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Dear Debbie, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Maddie. She was such a beautiful Girl and obviously deeply loved. It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share with you this poem that was read during Princess Diana's Funeral. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Maddie will continually provide you with comfort, She will always live in your heart and memories forever. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Maddie. Please find comfort in knowing that Maddie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Maddie and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Maddie I am sorry for your loss. Debbie loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.
