Bari, I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet lion 'Leo". It is comforting to know that there are others who would adopt an old cocker spaniel. We found a very old cocker who had been badly neglected, and even though we weren't looking for another dog, she was so sweet and grateful that we just couldn't send her to a shelter. Like Leo, she also had cancer. We tried everything we could to save her, and she stayed healthy for one and a half years. Leo was a very lucky boy to have found such a caring family. My cocker spaniel's name was Helen, and she actually looked like Leo! I'm forever a fan of older dogs, especially Cocker Spaniels! You are a caring individual and the world is a better place for it. My warmest regards for you and your family, Eileen

Bari I was just visiting some of my Princess's friends and came across your Leo, I weep as I read his story. How wonderful that he knew TRUE love for the end of his life, and how unfortunate that those who had him for 6 years gave that love away. May you find special blessing for your kindness to God's little Leo, how very precious. I rescue and it warms my heart as I have a special place for senior pets.

Even now, your loved one must be looking down on you with as much love as ever. May your memories make you smile every day. Lovingly, Nancy
