Amy..Luther is a beautiful boy....a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us.He is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge, they are gone from our site but never forgotten. I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

Hi, Amy! Thank you so much for allowing me to learn of your friend Luther Elliot, who died. Your memorial page for him is so touching- I can imagine how huge a part of your life your late buddy was! I hope that all the happy memories you made in your time together will keep him close to you as you grieve his loss. With empathy, Megan, Philadelphia PA with Dexter "Big Essie," Bernese mountain dog

I'm sorry for the loss of your beloved Luther Elliot. On January 5th Spooky my 19 year old calico passed away. It was hard watching her age but I know she had a good life as I'm sure Luther Elliot did too. Let's take comfort in our memories knowing they are both young, healthy and waiting for us to join them at the Rainbow Bridge. I'm enclosing an Angel to watch over all of our babies.

Luther sounds like he was such a joy! Beautiful tribute. It's nice to know I don't have the only cat that snores (lol). My wife and I never knew cats did that. Twenty one years is a long time. What a blessing to have had him that long. I know you must miss him terribly, but I know he will anxiously be waiting for you at the Rainbow bridge. God Bless.

So sorry for the loss, of your furbaby, it is always hard to lose a good friend. May your days of pain and adjustment be short, and your memories of your baby bring you peace and love. No more pain or suffering for our furbabies, only sunshine and lots of new friends. Soon you will all be together again and going over the rainbow together, which is where your lives’ really begin

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Luther. Please find comfort in knowing that Luther is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Luther and my babies have all become good friends. Amy, As a former cat-owner I feel for you at Luther`s passing - after 21 years! What a happy fur-child he must have been to have chosen to stay with you for such a long life! I thought my cats did well to reach 18 years. I believe cats choose us (and, as God permits, their length of life with us) though they allow us to think it is the other way round. You must miss him terribly after your life has revolved around him for over two decades. He has seen you through many changes - sharing his last Thanksgiving with you - but leaving you just before Christmas. However he passed saying goodbye is so very hard - leaving a deep hole in your heart that only he can fill. But he is not far away - as near as Heaven is to all of us - where he is forever young and strong again - waiting for you, his parent, to find him again in that Land of Love and Light God has prepared for those who love him - and their beloved pets. Meanwhile his spirit watches over you - his green eyes shining with love.

Dear Amy, My prayers are with you on the passing of your precious Luther Elliot. He was a beautiful boy and obviously deeply loved. You gave him a wonderful life and It is not easy losing our loving companions. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Luther Elliot continually provide you with comfort, he will forever live in your hearts and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

Luther Elliot I am sorry for your loss. Amy loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

Dear Luther Elliot, how purrfectly handsome you are. Please go to the Bridge and purr your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your family who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Amy, your world has lost a very special furpurrson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Luther is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Luther will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

I am so sorry for your loss of Luther. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Luther that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Luther and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Luther continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

For sweet Luther, I know that during your lifetime you gave Amy much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Amy wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Luther I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Amy, I just visited your Luther's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Luther would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Luther. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
