Found your page with grieving the loss of my Beagle also named Lucy. We had 15 wonderful years with her. Your Lucy sounds a lot like mine. I especially loved hearing that your Lucy was a great escape artist; mine was as well lol. We also walked/drove around our neighborhood looking for her. One of the times she got out we found her at a neighbors BBQ lapping up attention from strangers 😃 wishing you peace ❤️

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Lucy, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this Holiday season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

My deepest sympathies on missing your hunting friend. Our beagle, Dusty, died yesterday after a long battle with Cushing Disease, with our kind vet's assistance. I am only now beginning to come to grips with her not being here at my feet. I am sure the same was and is true for you. Those beagles sure grow on you - they are so sweet and loyal. Thanks for loving your dog enough to post this page.

As I've said before someone only die's if we forget and we won't Lucy Bonnie was right you were the best escape artist as well as a mooch you did'nt have any of those shy tendincies like eric when it came to geting a trteat from a neighbor. Steve aka Dad misses you I know and Bonnie aka Mom does as she's put you on this site you probably would have done it yourself if you had hand's instead of paw's. What I often wonder is GOD spelled backward's is DOG are you both the same some may say yes God loves us no matter what and so does a dog you can yell at one and 5 min's latter they are right there licking and mooching off you they dont care when u yell and when ever u r down they r there for u much like GOD don't you think? Have a better life now Lucy with all who went before you and Jesus Dennis

Lucy Girl, so do you approve of Mabel? I know you and Eric sent her to mom. Cats usually don't like their bellies rubbed and I know you did...do you have anything to do with Mabel liking that? Well I still miss you my little ghost doggy. Sending my love to you girl. Auntie Weeze

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Lucy I loved hunting with you. You were an awesome little dog and had a mind of your own. You were definitely your daddy's little girl! I see a star shining brightly in the night and I say HI to it when I see it. It's because your daddy says it's you up there. You now I BELIEVE he is right. Rest in peace little one. SCOTT

Welcome to the Bridge! I know you're busy making friends, romping around playing, and laughing so hard you just can't stand it, but don't forget to take the time to let your family know you're okay and thank them for the wonderful life they gave you...

To precious Lucy, a new angel at the Rainbow... I can just see you now with your feather-soft guardian angel wings, watching over your family back here. And I just know by now you've had a chance to look around for the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored doggie naps, haven't you... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that all those who loved you back here have actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could your family have ever wished for you? What more could have ever been wished.......from Karen/Dusty and DJ's mom

Steve and Bonnie, Lucy has a very sweet message for you... "Please don't miss me...I'm with you all the time. You can't see me but I'm there. I love you both and here is a little toy to remind you of me until we're together again." Love forever, Lucy Believe! Mari

Lucy - You were a sweet girl and left your family with so many wonderful memories. Be sure you send them signs, kisses often to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and have made many friends. Let Steve and Bonnie know that you have met up with Eric and that God has appointed the both of you to be the guardian, protectors to watch over them until they are called to join you. I hope that you have met my Brande and I will tell her to find you. To Bonnie and Steve - I send more heartfelt sympathy to you and I know just how hard it is. Lucy sends this message to you, "I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I am in heaven but wherever there is love, I am there also. Love, God, Lucy and the special angel Letter from God - Author Unknown

Hi Steve & Bonnie I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Lucy. I have recently lost my Zander in July 2008 so I know how you are feeling. I know that someday we will be together again with our beautiful companions. If you get some free time I have attached Zander's link, take care. Lucy, What a precious baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your family so much that they now know the true meaning of unconditional love. They long for the day to be able to hold you and to look into your eyes again. I know just how grateful you are for all of love and care in which they provided you. They miss you baby, so very much. I know that you don't want them to be sad for too long, but instead, be happy. For you are happy, content at peace and have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl and Leche. I extend my deepest condolences to you for the loss of Lucy. I know just how painful it is to have lost your angel, for, I too, lost mine. Please vist my Shayna Girl at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/SHAYN005/Resident.htm and Leche at http://www.rainbowbridge.com/residents/LECHE001/Resident.htm My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna and Leche's mommy, Lisa
