Kathy thanks for keeping Lucky's memory alive. I feel pain and sorry for all mistreated animals in our universe. I ask myself 'why' everyday. They depend on us for everything. I pray that change will come. I left a bouquet of lowers as a symbol that Lucky's spirit continues to flower.

Hello Kathy, As you begin to reflect on memories of your beautiful Lucky. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Dear Kathy, I feel your pain. I went to the website and found Lucky's picture. He was a tan/white pitbull mix wearing a Halloween bandana around his neck. It's so sad that all of those pups couldn't be adopted. My three kitties have been rescues, just little strays that would have turned feral if I hadn't taken them. My Paisley passed away last December at age 13. My Bandita is 16 and Scooter is 1 year old. Lucky was a handsome dog that had so much love to give. Thank you for honoring his memory. Kathy..there are some things in life I just do not understand and I think this is where I also lost my faith, except for the love of an animal. It is so unconditional, and then something like this happens. Lucky is such a beautiful boy, and such alluring eyes. He has left his pawprints within my heart and I didn't even know him.It is nice of you to have him remembered, and I hope his former owner has the chance to read this site so he knows Lucky will be remembered, by persons who care but have never met him. Be glad to know he will never again know the hard life he once knew but is with friends that will care for him and he will never be alone again.I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

I am so sorry for your loss of Lucky. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Lucky that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Lucky and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Lucky continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

Kathy, Thank you for setting up Lucky`s memorial for him. It is good that he has one person in this world who is his true parent - even though you never had a chance to show him your love. I have worked in Animal Rescue work and know how easy it is to write off a sick or unwanted fur-child who could have had a home - given half a chance. In God`s eyes he is your dog. Please do not allow the harsh rules of some shelters - and the callous attitude of those who work there to make you lose your faith. God does not stop all evil in this world because He has given us free will. Lucky is with His Creator in a safe place now where he will look out for you to claim him when it is your turn to cross the Bridge - where there will be no more cruel destruction of life - but an eternity of life as it was meant to be for us and our beloved pets: not as it is now where evil people appear to have the last word. There are shelters where life is respected. I worked in UK`s Battersea Home - the best!

Kathy, my heart breaks knowing how this special angel was abused and killed. I hope there will be severe punished for the subhuman that did that to Lucky. For you, I send you kind, loving energy so that you can heal and continue to share the love you have in your heart with other deserving animals like lucky.

I know no words can really sooth the loss of your beloved Lucky. My prayers go out to you. I know he must have brought a lot of joy to your life. I will never understand how people can treat any animal cruelly. He will be waiting for you by the Rainbow Bridge. My deepest condolences, Debbie

I too am so sorry for the passing of Lucky. The thing I like to remember or try and remember is: No more pain or suffering for these fur babies, only sunshine and (lots of new friends}. And Kathy since you are such a kind hearted lady I can only hope and believe that you and Lucky will meet somewhere some time- maybe at the rainbow, which is where your lives’ really begin. Kathy the services offered on this site are great, they really helped me

Dear Kathy, How wonderful it is for you to create this memorial for Lucky. It is unfortunate that he was taken too soon before someone could give him a Furever home. It also breaks my heart that Lucky was not given a second chance. I completely understand the pain and grief that you are experiencing and you are not alone. Would like to share this poem read during Princess Diana's memorial. "Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity." (Henry Van Dyke) Hope that the many memories of Lucky will continually provide you with comfort, he will forever live in your heart and memories. If you would like, please feel free to visit my Baby's memorial. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CHEST037/Resident.htm. Sending love and light, Nelson

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Lucky. Please find comfort in knowing that Lucky is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Lucky and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Kathy-You've earned your wings on earth for which I have placed a vase of fern leaves symbolizing your angelic soul at Rainbow Bridge. Lucky traveled a gentle path leaving behind his battered being and kept the love in his heart for which you had infused. May you be graciously blessed and may you always feel the warmth from Lucky deep within. I am so profoundly sorry for your loss.

Lucky sweet boy. You were an angel on earth, now you're angel in Heaven. You are at peace now, free from pain. There are lots of furbabies for you to run and play with at Rainbow Bridge. At night you sleep on the clouds with the angels. My Perseus is probably good friends with you already. RIP Sweetheart
