To Lucky's parents, my heartfelt condolences on your baby's passing. Your story touched my heart. Be comforted knowing Lucky's life was rich with love and care by both of you. In her memory I leave a pot of clovers to symbolize her love for you. With deep sympathy, Rose

Our own Lucky departed the same day as your Lucky. Our Lucky was also a rescue. Our Lucky was blind when he pounded into our fence at 2 am one August morning 6 years ago. He had a collar but was a scraggly boy. So we cleaned him up and I put signs up about our found "stray." No one answered. Who would leave this precious boy go. Sure he was blind with heart worm but we got his heart worm fixed but his eyes were too far gone. So we also named him Lucky, because we were so Lucky he came to us. He blessed our home for 6 years. We believe he must have been 13 or 14 and was an old boy when he passed peacefully in his sleep. Our Lucky's have been gone more than a week and the ache is being replaced by wonderful memories but he will always be missed and always be a part of our life's story, just like your Lucky and that snowy day ... Take care

Pauls..Lucky is very "lucky" to have found you...a beautiful tribute for a great friend. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. She is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies site if you wish to visit..take care..

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Lucky. Please find comfort in knowing that Lucky is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Lucky and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Paula, I`m sorry to read of the passing of your wonderful Lucky Austin whom you found over 15 years ago. I`m so glad you rescued her - cold and starving out in the snow. Whoever abandoned her to a cruel fate was not worthy of her love. How `lucky` she was indeed to find her `forever` home in your hearts and lives. You too were blessed to have known her 24/7 for so many years. What a loyal and obedient dog to stay with you without a lead - and to share your work-life with you. I can see that this must be a very traumatic loss for you - and for Star from next door - who must be grieving and wondering what has happened to his friend. It will take time - and the shedding of tears - for you to heal from this emotional/spiritual amputation which, I know from my own experience, can devastate your lives. Adjustment to the absence of her physical presence will come gradually - alongside the realisation that Lucky is with you in spirit - still caring for you - waiting for you in Heaven.

Paula- "Lucky in Love". Your moving tribute to your beloved fur-daughter, Lucky could easily have intensified global warming. May you reminisce and rekindle all those wonderful memories packed into 15 years while your hearts heal during this painful silence. The brick path to Rainbow Bridge is etched with footprints for which I have left in loving memory. I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

Lucky Austin I am sorry for your loss. Paula loves you and misses you very much. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

I'm sorry for the loss of your Lucky.I lost my Finnbar December 2012.I lost my Rocky in March. I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be.Until then Lucky is waiting for you at Rainbowsbridge happy and healthy. There are new places to explore so much space to run like the wind all the good treats and when she needs a break, meadows to lie in the sun. She's having a ball with her new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you.I hope she's met my boys by now.Finn is a friendly little cat but he's scrappy and Rocky is the sweetest gentle giant. If you would care to visit my guys http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Finnb001/Resident.htm http://Rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Rocky303/Resident.htm

For sweet Lucky Austin, I know that during your lifetime you gave Paula much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at the beautiful residency that Paula created just for you and reading what she wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Lucky I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Paula, I just visited Lucky's Rainbow's Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Lucky would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Lucky. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)

Dear Lucky Austin, you are truly cherished. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mom who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Paula, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Lucky is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Lucky will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

Hello, precious Lucky Austin, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place at Rainbows Bridge. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved sweet Lucky. Pressy's Grandpa
