Dennie and Mike, How does time fly by so fast? I thought this was a nice saying in remembrance of Lucky -- "Memory is a way you can hold on to the things you love, the things you never want to lose." Thank goodness for precious memories! MB

Hi, Beautiful Lucky. A whole year at over the Bridge. I hope you have met my Lucky, who was a big white and orange boy! I am sure you two have had some fun together. My Lucky was so laid back that even a new greyhound coming into the house never fazed him! I hope you have been sending loving kisses on the wind and letting Mommy and Daddy know that you are watching over them. I still get kisses from my Lucky and also Gyzmo too. You have met Gyz, haven't you? She is a calico living in a world all her own. She is a stange one, my Gyz is! Take care, Lucky, you are so beautiful and with your beautiful angel wings, you are more so than ever. Bobbie a-k-a Lucky's Mom

IN WRITING THIS NOTE ,, I CLEARLY RECALL THE NIGHT YOUR LUCKY WAS DISCOVERED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, GOD KNOWING THAT HIS LITTLE CREATURE NEEDED SOME ONE TO LOVE AND CARE FOR HIM, I BELIEVE PICKED OUT THE PERFECT CARETAKERS. EVEN THOUGH A TRAGIC ENDING WAS TO ENSUE, LUCKY WAS GIVEN ALL THE LOVE AND CARE AND HAPPINESS HOPED FOR BY ANY ONE OF GODS CREATURES.

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the happiest of memories of your sweet Lucky be the ones that you remember this month of December. May it be those very memories, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face, that surround you during this Holiday Season, the first one that your baby will celebrate with child-like fascination at the Rainbow ... And may those love-filled memories bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one of the little presents that your furbaby guardian angel would want for you this year.... May God bless you and your entire family this wonderful Holiday Season. With best wishes, Karen....Dusty's mom....NJ http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Lucky... I still remember the day you came purring up to me in front of the pizza shop. Right than I knew you were the perfect kitty for my Aunt Dennie and away I took you! To Aunt Dennie and Uncle Mike: Lucky was a "lucky" boy to be brought home with you that day and he lived an amazing life with you both. Remember: God blesses us the time with his precious animals he created and when needed he calls them back to his world. We are a piece of their journey with him. Love Karrie, Ray and Aiden

What a touching story about the life of your beloved Lucky. His name was most appropriate as he was lucky to have you Mickey and Dennie for parents. May he rest in peace.

Dear Dennie and Mike, I am so saddened by the fact that you had to lose your beloved Lucky so soon. It's hard to understand how such a loving being in our life can be stricken with diseases and pain, but sometimes God has a plan for us to learn and grow, and sometimes that means that we have to lose something that means a lot to us. I have never lost a pet, so I don't know what it means to trully lose one, but what I do know is that the love that a pet shares with us during their life gives us an eternity of good memories and warmth. Again, I am so sorry. My heart goes out to both of you and of course, to Lucky. Love, Mariel P.S. This site is great. I finally got a chance to read everything today. What a great memorial =) Lucky would be proud!

Dear Lucky, What a beautiful boy you are. My Lucky was orange and white and he would have just loved to have you to play with. He was one of the eight cats that we had. We now have 6, as Our Lucky and Our Gyzmo are there with you across the Bridge. I hope you tell your Mom every day, how much you love her and how much she meant to you. I know that our Lucky sends me the softest of wee headbumps in the wind. It means so much to me and I know it will mean so much to your Mom too. I know you can find my Lucky and Gyzmo. He is orange and white and she a orange, white and black Calico. But watch out for Gyz, she always thinks she has to be the boss. You just remind her that isn't so. Have fun in the sun, dear Lucky and it was so wonderful to read your story. Lucky and Gyzmo's Mom, Bobbie

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.
