"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Lily, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your very heart, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this special season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty & DJ's mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

Dear Ernie, I'm sure you and Lily have a deep connection that sometimes will be able to bring her back as if she is with you again. I know they dance around us and if we feel them suddenly then their spirit is probably 'alive' and well and hovering about us. You meant the world to her too. Hugs, Linda

I am so sorry to hear about your recent loss of Lily. Please find comfort in knowing that Lily is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Lily and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Ern, i feel for you man, i have a cat myself called Bumble because she has a tail in the colours of a bumble bee and for the first time in ages (she started being an outside cat after we sold her kittens) i actually saw her and she ran over to me and brushed up against my leg and obv. wanted stroking which was great. I used to just sit on my backdoor step with bumble alot because with cats there is no complexities, no need to speak and you can always sense what the cat is feeling without having to have a long drawn out conversation. You can just sit in silence and enjoy it, ignore the crazy world around us and relax. I've had many great memories with my cat and i sort of understand how you may feel, obv i won't truly understand it until i go through it but all i know for certain is its gonna hurt and be a real sad day and so i want you to know you've got my deep condolences and i hope you can pick yourself up and carry on life. Good luck with what you're doing and be strong man, Cal

Ernie, what an immeasureable love we have for these precious furbabies of ours. You're right, there's no words to describe it, but we only know, it's real! Keep her memories close, stay focused on meeting her again, and be glad for the joy she brought into your life, the pain would not be so intense, unless the love had been the same. I'll be praying for you, God Bless, Jeanette.

Hey, Ernie.. I'm terribly sorry to hear about your loss. It's clear to me that Lily was a big part of your life. I'm here for you if you need anything. You crossed my mind just the other day. I'm sorry that this is the reason we haven't seen you in a while. Be strong, and take care of the little ones.... (or not so little ones). I'm here for you.

Dear Ernie, Sounds like Lily was a very special cat who offered lots of love and laughter to you and many other people. Be content and feel proud that you also offered her what seems like a wonderful life. Just as the happiness that you felt while she was in your life has passed, so will the pain. Take solace in the fact that you were compassionate and loving towards this wonderful creature. When the pain lessens, you will be left with wonderful memories that will make you smile. Jackie

Ernie, I am very sorry -- I usually would have something funny to say but I don't think its appropriate. We will need to toss back some beers in her honor.

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Lily, sweet and beautiful kitty. What a long wonderful life you spent with your dad. The loss of you is so heartbreaking but as the Angel Kitty now, it is your job to let your beloved dad know that you are safe and sound and watching over him always. Show him in sweet dreams how you have warm sunshine to lay in, and cool grass to roll in. Let him know in little whispers how you watch over him and give him a purr when he needs it most. But mostly, sweet kitty, tell him in his heart how very much you love his and miss his too. let his see how one day you will be there to welcome him into eternity, never to be parted again. Ernie, may God heal your heart and show you the beauty that will be in the days to come. Visit my Cleo if you like: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/CLEO028/Resident.htm

Hello Lily...how are you? I know you are going to have so much fun with all of your new friends. Make sure you send your daddy some purrs so he knows you are OK. I hear there is a never-ending supply of catnip at the bridge. I bet you found it already. Since you have your wings, you can fly down to see your daddy when you want. I know he would like that. To Ernie...you are in our thoughts. You will meet with your baby again when it is time. Hold your memories close to your heart. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/PFEIF001/resident.htm or any of our other babies at the bridge.

Lily - What a beautiful lady you are! Send dad some signs and kisses from the Rainbow that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Ernie know that God has appointed you to be the guardian, protector to watch over him until he is called to the Bridge to join you. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Ernie - I send my sincere sympathy to you over the loss of Lily. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown
