Last year, My Nanny brought a dog to keep her and my Grandad company. We puppy trained him on behalf of them. But in August my Grandad died, Then September my Nanny died. But we have been left with our dog Bentley. A shih Tzu. He has been truly amazing at getting us through grief. So I truly believe dogs our angels. So I truly believe a dog has entered your life for a reason. But I dread the day I lose him as I’ve lost 3 other previous dogs and the pain is unbelievable but at least now they’ll be in heaven. So I’m sure Lexi is resting in peace.

I have just read your book Pawprints On Our Hearts. Enjoyed very much. Love dogs. My dog Benji crossed over to Rainbow Bridge aged 14 in 2019. Much missed. Dogs are family. God bless.

I just have to send my sympathy for your loss. I understand the pain. My husband & I had to send our fur baby Odie over the rainbow Bridge last year. It's been hard. Time does mend the wound, it doesn't fix it.

Lexi, you are remembered so fondly by your humans. Just as I remember with fondness my furbabies who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Truly all of you have left pawprints on our hearts!

Loved reading your book. Lexi was and is a lucky dog. I wish there were more people as kind hearted as you Kerk. I lost my best friend and forever pet 17 months ago and I still cry and miss him to this day.

Dogs come and go throughout our lives and they definitely leave paw prints on our hearts. Lexi I’m sure was such a dog hopefully someday we’ll all meet again in heaven. I hope when I get to heaven that God will give me the honor of caregiver of dogs and maybe even our little stray cats too that never have felt love in their short little life’s.

I very much enjoyed your book. Your story of Lexi touched my heart. I lost my Willow, the other half of my heart, almost 3 years ago now. I can usually smile when I see her pictures now, remembering her and the time we had together. Other times, I take one look at her smiling face and I completely fall apart, because of how badly I miss her. So reading about your similar feelings really hit home for me. Thank you for sharing your (and Lexi's) story with the world!

I'm grateful for your love and compassion for your sweet Lexi, and all the other dogs who you are now helping in her memory. I smile to think my little Teddy, Spunky, Zippy, and Rascal are no doubt playing with your Lexi.

Good girl, Lexi! Kerk, some day you will cross the Rainbow Bridge and she will be waiting for you, just as my boys Pumba, Reagan, Bandit and Doc are waiting for me. They are always with us and always faithful. God bless you both.

Chachi was our baby and left us far too soon. We have a little spot and gravestone in our backyard. He was the best boy a couple could ever have adopted. We had him for an an amazing wonderful 15 years. He waited for us to be with him and passed away in my husband’s arms with me kneeling at their feet. I/We think and dream about him everyday. He can never be forgotten or replaced.

Our pets make us better people. Reading the story of these beloved dogs was heart-warming. I wish all animals can feel live.
