Hello Luke, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Lava. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Luke, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Lava and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Lava. Please find comfort in knowing that Lava is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Lava, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. Dear Luke I'm sorry for the loss of your Lava. What a beautiful tribute for a perfect friend and a good looking guy. I lost my Finnbar unexpectedly in December.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be. Until then Lava is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. No sickness. No pain. He's got new places to explore so much space to run and meadows to lie in the sun. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you. I hope he's met Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat who loves to play. He'll show Lava all the good spots. Lava , you are a cutiepie. My Tats recently crossed the bridge last Friday 6/28. HE HAD GOTTEN SICK IN MARCH BUT HE IS IN A BETTER PLACE, LIKE YOU .
