Mary, the loss of a furry friend can never be short term and we see them places when we least expect to and knowing they are not really there we wish they were. Now your Koyrie and our Ella are enjoying each others company over the rainbow bridge and running thru the never ending grasses they deserve.

My condolences, and sorry for your loss. This is my first time being on rainbows bridge, and I’m amazed on such a strong community it is. I left a ball as a gift, because my Corgi Kobe always loves sharing his toys. Koyrie is chasing all the fellow pups in fur baby heaven.

Such a really great story! My daughter has a doggie who looks just like your Koyrie (Gracie Boo - came to us out of nowhere on Halloween night!)and she did the almost same thing. They are so smart and so coy (Koy?)I am so sorry for your loss and I understand how deep it is. Nothing replaces that love they give. Nothing in the world. The memories are wonderful and healing but so hard too. Our babies suffer just as we do. Our consolation is that at least they feel better and do become happier over time. They do love to hear us call their names so it is important to do that no matter how much time goes by. I do every day. I just lost my precious Turkish Van kitty of 15 years and he loved me to sing to him so that is what I do now. It keeps us connected and it helps with the pain of loss. I pray for him too. So talk and sing your love to Koyrie. I bet very time you get that food you think of Koyrie and that day....be well..keep the love alive. God bless

Deepest sympathies for the loss of your beloved friend and fur baby. The love and memories will be with you from the sweet time spent with them. Take comfort that all the love you gave went with them. They are not gone, for they are a piece of your heart, always.

Dear Mary, My heart is saddened with yours in the loss of Koyrie. Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know the deep hurt we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I hope, with time passing, the sadness will lift and in its place will be those continued joyful memories that will make you smile or laugh again when you think of Koyrie. Blessings, Dianna

I am very sorry for your loss of sweet Koyrie. He is fortunate to have someone who loves him so much, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. It sounds like you have so many joyful memories to recall as you adjust to new routines without your precious pup. Play hard at the Bridge dear Koy and look for Buddy (our Yorkie). He loves to play and has been known to steal a hamburger and pluck packs of gum out of a purse. You two will have a ball running and playing.

I am so sorry for your loss of Koyrie. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Koyrie that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Koyrie and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Koyrie continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

For sweet Koyrie, I know that during your lifetime you gave Mary much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what Mary wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Koyrie, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Mary, I just visited your Koyrie's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Koyrie would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Koyrie. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).
