Ellen, Bernie: it's sad that Kody had to go right before New Year. I’m sorry for your loss. Know that you are not alone. I, too, have lost a beloved pet; everyone in this website have. We know you’re hurting, and we’re here for you. We feel the pain that you feel; we’ve suffered the loneliness that you suffer, at not having our beloved pet by our side anymore. But we all feel the same relief---that where our beloved pets are now, they’re safe, and happy, and content, whatever afflicted them in this life is gone. And we all share the same hope---one day, we will be together again with our beloved ones. My baby, a female Beagle named River, left for Rainbow Bridge on March 21, 2017; you can see River here--https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/RIVER002/Resident.htm. Happy new year! I hope 2018 brings something to help ease the pain.

Dear Ellen and Bernie, I understand this is a sad time for you I too know the heartbreak of losing a beloved friend and constant companion having lost my beloved Bob Barker on August 28, 2017...so I understand how much you miss Kody. Just remember that it is never really “Goodbye”, just “Until we’re together again”! And I pray that this thought will give your heart comfort and peace in the days to come when you think of your sweet Kody… Now Kody waits for you to sleep at night and dream of him. His love continues to cross the Rainbow bridge and come to you all the time. My pups and I are sending you very – very special loving thoughts, prayers, positive energy, and petitioning the Universe to ease your heart pain and give you peace in the knowledge that you will see your little one again one day and that for now your sweet Kody is but a dream away… You can visit Bob Barker at: https://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BOBBA002/Resident.htm

Dear Ellen and Bernie, A dog’s love is truly something wondrous. They never point out our flaws, though surely we have them. What good hearts they have, teaching us by their example. And they are missed so deeply when they pass on, leaving us with fond memories forever in our heart. Kody will never forget you either - He'll be waiting patiently at Rainbow Bridge playing with the others all the while keeping an eye out for the two of you for your final joyous reunion. Wishing you comfort and peace in your time of need. Carmen's and Gigi's mom - Alicia

Ellen and Bernie, I am sorry for the loss of your sweet angel Kody. I understand that feeling of losing a part of your heart. Once the pain subsides, you will feel more receptive to the signs and messages Kody will send or give you, most likely at night when you are relaxed. The bond you have is strong and cannot be broken. It wasn't until my sadness and depression subsided that I understood this for myself. Murphy visits me, my husband or both every day. So grateful for that. I hope Kody meets up with Murphy so the can run and play together in the warm sunshine.

Ellen and Bernie, I am sorry to know about your sweet Kody. You are right in feeling that a part of you has died when your Kody had to leave your side. I myself, and many others here feel the same way. If feels that way because when Kody left, he took a piece of your heart with him. Remember though, he left a bigger piece of his heart with you. Hold on to all those beautiful memories you shared together. Kody will be very missed by the both of you and never forgotten. Sending you thoughts of strength in the days that follow you.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Kody. Please find comfort in knowing that Kody is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. On 1/3/18 my little cat Zoe passed away. I am sure that Kody and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Kody Gitler I am sorry for your loss. My Perseus went to Rainbow Bridge when he was 14. There are no more aches or pains. No rain only sunshine. Running and playing all day with the other furbabies. One day we will join them for all eternity at Rainbow Bridge.

I am so sorry for your loss of Kody. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Kody that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Kody and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Kody continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

For sweet Kody, I know that during your lifetime you gave Ellen and Bernie much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at the beautiful residency that your family created just for you and reading what they wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Kody I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Ellen and Bernie, I just visited your Kody's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious furangel. I am sure if asked, Kody would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Kody. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

Dear Kody Gitler, you are truly cherished. Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your family who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Dear Ellen and Bernie, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed Home a very special soul. Kody is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Tashi, Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet presence continually nuzzle your hearts until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Kody will never be broken. Many blessings and much peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Tashi at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/TASHI002/resident.HTM

Ellen and Bernie: The memorial page you've set up for Kody is profoundly beautiful and reveals a special relationship that will always be cherished. I am so deeply sorry to hear your pain and sadness, although totally expected after losing a best friend. May you be surrounded by those who love you to provide support and solace in your time of need. I've left a gift of a pull rope to keep your connection, the bond you've shared throughout the years-never let go!
