Oh, how I love your stories about Kimiko chasing balls. As I was reading, I could see it all in my mind. We lost our Bandit on 07-27-09. While I cannot know exactly how you feel, I do have a general idea. (After two years we are not, to date, up to having another dog around.) May God Bless You!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Kimiko. Please find comfort in knowing that Kimiko is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Kimiko and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

What a beautiful girl and such a pretty name. I will keep her and you in my prayers. I don't believe they ever blame us for making the decision to end their pain and sufffering to them it's our last gift of love for them. God wouldn't give us the strength to make this decision if it wasn't the right one. I hope the memories of your time with both of them help to ease the pain of your loss.

My deepest sympathies to you and your familt on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

That is so sad. Both dogs were so sweet. We will miss her on our jeep trips. Hope you will feel better soon. I am sure you made the right choices for KIMIKO and she loved you too. Our animals are so receptive to our needs and of course that is a great loss.

A close companion and friend is one of life's treasures. Four-legged buddies are among the best of the best. It would be no slight to Kimiko to find another buddy now and begin to fill the void. I hope you will.

I am so sorry for the loss of your special girl Kimiko. God saw her getting tired, he knew her time drew near. So he bent down and wishpered into her master's ear. "Let her go, to come to me, set her spirit free." So with a tear and final goodbye, you sent her to her rest. Knowing that God's Heaven just recived one of the best. Until you meet her agin at the Rainbow Bridge. With many kind thoughts and deepest sympaty in the loss of such a "trearured friend"! Anneli

We are so sorry for your loss. We know exactly how you feel: two years ago we lost our beloved Bonnie (a nine year old Belgian Sheepdog Tervuren)under similar circumstances. Your "In Memoriam" is such a beautiful story and a real tribute to KIMIKO. You will miss your treasured friend, but you will never forget her and she will always be in your hearts. And you will be always very thankful for the special times you could share with KIMIKO. With sympathy, Annelie McBride and Ton Wolters

I have seen Irmi's happy eyes fad to sadness and worry. I know full well the love she has in her heart and eyes for Kimiko and how heavy her heart has become with worry and the well-being of the beloved Kimiko. You have done well brave souls in the naming of your beloved Kimiko; as well, in her love and care. Your hearts well heal, but with a LIGHT that will shine bright for Kimiko. You will learn from love and know how to love. Animals teach us many things about living life on this earth. You have had a wonderful teacher, friend and kindered love with Kimiko in your lives. Peace be with you.

There's a special place in heaven that's been reserved for all the dogs who so faithfully served. Those of us whose hearts are bereaved, when our place on earth they must leave. Please accept my condolences in the loss of your beloved Kimiko.

Kimiko, What a precious baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your family so much that they now know the true meaning of unconditional love. They long for the day to be able to hold you and to look into your eyes again. I know just how grateful you are for all of love and care in which they provided you. They miss you baby, so very much. I know that you don't want them to be sad for too long, but instead, be happy. For you are happy, content at peace and have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl and Leche.I extend my deepest condolences to you for the loss of Kimiko.I know just how painful it is to have lost your angel, for, I too, lost mine. Please vist my Shayna Girl at: http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/SHAYN005/Resident.htm. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna and Leche's mommy, Lisa
