People who never have the chance to own a dog will never understand the pain and the grief we feel when our pet went to leave the fur suit or to transition so easy for them to say you will be fine later on or in the near future. Please hold on to Karl’s memories. He’s a handsome dog. I’m sure he really enjoyed his life being with you.

Run free, handsome Karl. Play with others in the Rainbow Bridge. No more pain, no more diseases. But visit your mum once in a while to ease her sorrow because she loves you more than you knew.

You have every right to grieve and for as long as you wish. You can't get by from this, you just learn how to take it one day at a time and live with the pain no matter what. Karl is still alive but in God's beautiful kingdom, in His heavenly paradise! Love is truly strong and it will always continue to reach us come what may!

Karl is lovely. What a great smile and a sweet, kind, gentle face. Please accept my deepest condolences for such a big loss. I understand the heartache of what it's like losing a pet companion, a fur kid like Karl. It never ceases to amaze me how much our fur kids give us. They are amazing, giving 100% of themselves every day, helping us see through the worst of times by giving us love, comfort, acceptance, friendship and happiness. Karl was deeply loved, cherished by you. I believe he knew this. The two of you formed a close bond that does not diminish with loss. We who have lost our fur babies shall see them once more when it is our turn to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I hope that remembering his wonderful memories will bring you inner peace, comfort and joy.

Dear Sallie, My heart is saddened with yours in the loss of Karl. Having been a dog owner/lover all my life, I know the deep heartache when we lose one so precious to us. I do hope, with time, your sadness will lift and in its place will be joyful memories that will make you smile or laugh again when you think of Karl. Blessings, Dianna

Grief hypnotherapy helped me overcome this huge feeling of sadness and mourning. Try to listen to or watch some of the therapy sessions on YouTube. I know your sweet Karl doesn't like you to be hard on yourself. Take one day at a time.
