"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Joey bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Joey. Please find comfort in knowing that Joey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Joey, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Loretta, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Joey and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Awwwww Loretta you wrote a beautiful tribute to Joey and I'm sure it wasn't easy to do. I picture you writing and crying at the same time. You gave this amazing little guy an amazing family. How lucky he was to have you all. I know he was your first ever dog and now you know what unconditional love really is. I'm so sorry you all had to go through this but the memories should be cherished and be happy for what you where in each others lives. Love you and feel your pain. xoxo

Hello Joey, you are so sweet and precious! Your mom loves and misses you so much, she wrote such loving words about you, you truly did give her life so much joy! Dear Loretta, I am deeply sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I know how hard it is to lose your beloved pet, as I have recently lost my Sassy & Frosty. Joey was a gift from God, he was a fighter, and God blessed you with many years of love and companioship with him, he has been called home but when your time comes to make that journey he'll be there waiting for you. For now while you are apart, his memories will forever be shining so brightly. Hugs. If you'd care please visit my Sassy & Frosty. http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/SASSY149/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/FROST011/Resident.htm

Loretta--I am so sorry about your precious Joey. Please know I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I lost my Joe Bud three years ago. Your memories of Joey reminded me so much of my boy. I know how much it hurts, and remember hearing Joe's dog tags in the silence that followed his passing. Words cannot express how sorry I am for you and your entire family. PS--I am leaving a carrot for a gift. I noticed you have one on Joey's tribute page...my Joe Bud loved carrots, too! I know they are both together watching over all of us.

Dear Loretta I'm sorry for the loss of your Joey. What a good looking guy. I lost my Finnbar in December. I know how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be totogether again just as it should be. Until then Joey is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. He's young again and even more perfect than you remember. He's having a ball with his new friends all the while still keeping an eye on you. I hope he's met my Finn by now. He's a friendly little cat who loves to play. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/FINNB001/ Resident.htm

Dear Joey, you are so handsome! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your mommy who misses you so much, and she will send her love right back to you on angels' wings. Loretta, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Joey is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually nuzzle your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Joey will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

For sweet Joey, I know that during your lifetime you gave Loretta much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photo and at the beautiful residency that Loretta created just for you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Joey I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Loretta, I just visited Joey's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I am sure if asked, Joey would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Last January I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Joey. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)

LORETTA SORRY OF THE PASSING OF YOUR LITTLE JOEY SUCH A PRETTY LITTLE GUY
From: Pressy's Family

Hello, handsome little Joey, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy loves and misses you so...she made you a beautiful place at Rainbows Bridge. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy feels your loving presence with her and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for her until she comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask she not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in her heart forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy always, beloved Joey. Pressy's Grandpa
