I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Joey. Please find comfort in knowing that Joey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Joey and Spooky have become good friends. Jo Jo - I thought of you on the 4th. It just happened to be that I was visiting your Mommy and Tyler that day. Mommy has a special place for you in the house. Rest in peace with God and your little friends in heaven. You will always be in my heart!

Jo Jo - Think of you often and still miss you. I know you are in a better place and I'm sure you were with Tyler on his 1st birthday. He is a special little boy who gets so excited when he sees dogs and zoo animals. He definitely takes after your mommy. Tyler would have loved touching your fury coat and cuddling with you. Watch over him and rest in peace my little Joey.

Jo Jo - sweet memories of you will always be with me. The holidays are over and it's a new year but you were with us through it all. I have your beautiful picture right next to Misty's picture in my bedroom. You look like you are sitting in the fields of heaven with the sun and wind blowing on you - so peaceful. Miss you!

Merry Christmas my sweet JoJo. I thought about you this holiday and miss you so much. When I go to visit your mom I see your beautiful face in pictures all around the house. Your mommy is very special and she is such a good mom to Tyler just like she was to you. Tyler enjoyed his first Christmas at Grandma's house and got to spend it with his cousins Zoe and Zach. Little Zoe wanted to know why you weren't there too. Buddy and Vinny had a good time eating their treats. Just remember your special bone is right next to your ashes if you want to look down at it. I'm sure you were happy spending Christmas with Jesus - no pain just beautiful angels in all shapes and sizes. I hope you found Misty and are playing together. Please tell Misty I still miss her and love her. You, my sweet boy, are in my heart every day. By the way, your mommy put the doggie angel right on top of the tree to show us that you are with us this holiday. Rest in peace little angel. Love Grandma

Happy Holidays & welcome to the bridge…the bridge is a wonderful place for you to be until you can be reunited with your humans once again. Take time out from hanging your stockings, lighting the Christmas tree, lighting the candles, hanging ornaments & playing with your new friends to send your humans lots of holiday smooches. You are missed so much in your loving home. At the bridge, you are no longer ill… in pain… tired… scared… you are happy, meeting new friends & so much more. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/COLE001/resident.htm

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel Joey, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember the way your baby's tender love touched your life, be the ones that surround you this Holiday Season. My prayer for each of us this Christmas season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us this Holiday season. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it most.... And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved furbaby bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your fur-angel would want for you this year ... With best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ & Patches' mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

We know how you are feeling....we also lost our precious little doggie, on October 28, 2009, after 14-1/2 wonderful years with her. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

To Joey's special Mom. Jen-the album you made touched my heart. There is a special picture in there of Joey and Grandma that I will always cherish. I lok around my house and still see him looking for his bones and protecting them so Vinny and Buddy couldn't get them. My special memory of Joey is when he stayed at Grandma's house and was still able to jump up on my bed. We shared some special times together. Joey will always be missed. I'm sure he is at peace, smiling down and watching over Tyler. Love Mom

What a beautiful way to memorialize such a sweet sweet boy! We will miss Joey and his happy smile and sweet nature. When he came in back for his bloodwork we would all greet him "Hi Joey!" and everyone had a hello pat for him. So glad we were able to know him in his final days, he was a patient we will all remember fondly. Your friends at AVC
