"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of your special sign, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Jake bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Jake. Please find comfort in knowing that Jake is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Jake, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Steve, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Jake and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Steve, sweet Jake is beautiful and precious in his picture. What a wonderful blessing that he was a part of your life for many years, bringing love and happiness to your heart and home every day. Now Jake brings joy to his many new furfriends at the rainbow meadow. He is happy and well, romping like a puppy in heavenly sunshine. My two rainbow kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, were there to welcome Jake and I am sure our little angels have become good friends. Blessings of healing and peace, Steve. We will be reunited with our babies at the rainbow bridge someday. I understand and care. Jane

Hello, handsome Jake, welcome to the forever sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Daddy loves and misses you so...he made you a beautiful place at Rainbows Bridge. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase golden sunbeams and colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Daddy feels your loving presence with him and Jake kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly for him until he comes to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask he not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in his heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Daddy so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him too and are with him. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Daddy always, beloved Jake. Pressy's Grandpa

Dear Steve What a handsome gut Jake is. We say is because we know he lives on in your heart. Jake was a gift sent to you from God to love and cherish. We know he is happy running and playing with his new friends and of course chewing on some tasty bones. Remember all the love and good times you and Jake shared. My heart goes out to you at Jake's crossing over the bridge. Both of my furbabies have crossed over in just a little over two years. The tears still flow freely when I think of them. It becomes somewhat easier, but our love for them is so great and binding that they take a piece of our hearts with them. I know that my God would not have made a Heaven that would not have a place for my Willy and Daniel. I live for the day that they will purr in my arms again. I know that they were there to greet Jake. I hope that he enjoys the sunlight as much as my boys did. For I believe that there is great joy and freedom there. I know that they are our guardian angels and watch over us, jumping and running in the beautiful meadows. May your heart begin to heal and know peace, and may you begin to find bittersweet joy in the wonderful memories of your beloved furbaby. I have left an angel for Jake. I will pray for your continued healing until we all meet again. God Bless You.

Steve, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Jake. Jake was sent to you by our Lord the Almighty as a sign of his love for you. These furry packages of love deliver to us such special fellowship, and companionship. There is nothing stronger than the bond that a man or a woman has for their fur-baby. They give us the strength to face the daily human/earthly dealings. I just lost Ginger the love of my life; my leading lady of 17 years, this past fall. Grieving is a natural response of having to send them on their final journey to eternal happiness. Take care in knowing that your precious Jake is relaxing at one of the many meadows that surround the Rainbows Bridge, is well and playing with the other fur-babies like my Ginger. Jake sends love wishes your way; thankful for having you as their human soul-mate and waits for you to be there with them. My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Jake to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Jake the most, listen to your heart, his love is there.

Dear Jake, you are truly cherished! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your daddy who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Steve, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Jake is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your heart until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Jake will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

For Steve, I just visited Jake's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. From looking at the beautiful residency you created for Jake it is obvious that he came from a very warm and loving home. I am sure if asked, Jake would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Last January I lost my little boy Pedro so I can understand how you must be feeling. Wishing you all the best always, Rosalind (Pedro's mom)
