Hello Jack I was just visiting some of my babies here at the bridge and came across your residency. I see that you will soon be celebrating your 8th year in heaven. I do hope you have found a meadow full of your favorite treats and are enjoying them "crunch crunch" in the beautiful sunshine. Take care and don't forget to send your humans a very special bright and shining star in the night sky to let them know you are with them always just inside their hearts.

I am sorry for your loss of the sweet baby jack. I know exactly what you mean when you said you miss the comforting "noise"...that's exactly what we had to deal with when we put our sweet jamba down. No more barking, just silence. I pray that things will get better as we go along but I will never forget my baby as I'm sure you never will either. If you would like to visit my baby he is at http://rainbowbridge.com/residents/JAMBA001/Resident.htm My deepest empathy to you and yours. With much love from florida, MacKenzie B

I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Jack and Spooky have become good friends. So sorry for your loss, we know just what you are going thru. We lost our Buster Beagle 9-11-01, somthing we will never get over . We still miss him like crazy. Our son gave us a Bichon but he cannot take. Buster's place but has made his own little place in our hearts. I dread the day that we will have to go thru this again and wonder how many times a heart can be broken.

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Welcome to the bridge Jack "the ripper"...how are you today? You are going to make many friends at the bridge & there's so much for you to do. You get to chase lizards & take long naps in the sun. And I hear they have the best catnip around. Isn't that great? Make sure you send your mommie & daddy lots of purrs so they know you are OK. To Vicki & Dave...we are sorry for your loss. Hold your memories close to your heart until you see your precious Jack again. This site has a wonderful PETLOSS CHATROOM if you would like to talk about your loss. There are people in the room starting around 5pm EASTERN time. http://RainbowsBridge.com/Residents/PFEIF001/resident.htm

Jack - You are a handsome guy and you had such a vivid personality! Send your mom and dad some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Vicki and Dave know that God has appointed you to be the guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Vicki and Dave - I send my deepest regrets over the loss of Jack. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Vicki & Dave... What loving and courageous parents you were to Jack "the Ripper." Facilitating a pet's journey toward Rainbow Bridge is an immensely difficult step and your doing so was a true act of selflessness. At the very moment that it meant the most, you honored your relationship and your love for your precious angel. Although he was in no position to verbalize a thank you, Jack's rapid departure seems to indicate his readiness to go. I wish for you a peaceful heart as you move into this New Year without your precious Jack by your side. I hope that in time the pain you feel will lessen and will be pushed aside by the joyful memories of yours and Jack’s time together. Be gentle with yourself as you mourn the loss of your friend as the grief journey is not an easy one. Know, however, that you are not truly alone and that Jack remains with you in spirit, always. Blessings to you…

Such wonderful thoughts and memories of your beautiful boy! Your tribute had me smiling, laughing, and then crying... “Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened" My deepest sympathy on the loss of your fur child.
