Well hello Jackson, as I read your story I couldn't help but think of my Bud Jones Jarvis here. He too had parents and was on the "other side of the fence" but like you became a part of our pack. I loved the story and the pictures and I can tell that your human still misses you very much. We are so blessed dear Jackson to get a "loan" from God even if the time is never enough. I do hope that you have met up with my 10 that are there and are enjoying all the beautiful sites of heaven together on this Summer morning. Don't forget to send your family down here a bright and shining light from the night stars every now and again to let them know you are still right there with them just inside their hearts.

Years have passed since Jackson's light left this world, and yet I find my thoughts return to him often. He truely left footprints on my heart.

"God gave us our memories so that we might have Roses in December." a quote by J.M. Barrie. May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. My prayer for all of us this blessed season, is that each of our babies wrap up a special little sign for each one of us back here, and send it to us during the Holidays. May you catch a glimpse of Ubu's special sign to you, just when your heart needs it the most....And may each love-filled memory you have of your beloved Jackson bring to your heart the very warmth and sunshine of the Rainbow itself. That's just one "gift" your baby-angel would want for you this year...God bless, and best wishes for you and your family this Holiday Season, Karen (Dusty, DJ, Patches, and Momma’s mom) http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/DUSTY101/Resident.htm

To Jim, I am so sorry to hear about Jackson's (Ubu) passing. He is now free from any pain and will live forever in your heart and memory as he now resides in the Rainbow Bridge where he can watch you and be with you in spirit. Take care.

dogs are just beyond what words can describe. I met jackson and his parents, they all leave good memories in my heart. I envision Jackson with my German shepherd, playing ball, somewhere on the constellation of cassiopeia. I will toast to them tonight.

Ubu, you are the most loving, wonderful, incredible dog I have known! But you're so much more than just a 'dog.' You are a loving best friend, a great listener, and the best partner. We've grown up together, you and I, haven't we! You and your goofy side-lolling tongue, and that funny back leg. And I always love throwing The Ball for you. I love you Ubu! Thank you for always being there and sharing your spirit with me and everyone you met.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Jackson. Please find comfort in knowing that Jackson is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Jackson, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Jim, Your tribute to Jackson (both Jacksons) made me cry. I am so sorry, and understand the hurt of losing a best friend. Indeed, Jackson was sent to you as a gift. Now, both Jackson and Jackson are together and watching over you. You were so lucky to have both special dogs, as they were lucky to have such a wonderful Dad! My Joe Bud died 3 years ago; I would like to picture him with both of your dogs--the silliest trio on the Rainbow Bridge. Peace to you at this most difficult time.

Jim I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved Jackson and how much he loved you! He was so lucky to have you as a dad. No matter where you went, you gave him a great home to live in. He will be truly missed at the Rally’s. I know he will be watching over you! Boo Boo

Jim, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Ubu-Jackson. He was certainly a handsome fellow and you can see the love he had for you in his eyes. Your tribute to him and to Legacy Jackson was among the most beautiful and heart-renching that I have read. Blessings to you and to all those who mourn Ubu's temporary loss. What a joyful reunion you will all have when the time comes! I'm sure my Ming and April were among those greeting Ubu at the Bridge!

Hello Jim, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Jackson. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm
