You were such a lucky dog that you had a mom that loved you so much. Your mom was also so lucky that she had you for the longest time and experienced your love. I am sure you are still with her protecting her and sending your love to her. You will always be with her no matter what. ❤️

Hunter was/is a beautiful dog. I too am an animal lover and know the heartache you are having. I am so happy that you were a good mom to him and loved him... and he loved you too... you can see the love in your pictures. While no other dog will ever take his place, I hope that you share your love and heart with another animal. There is nothing better than the love of an animal. Take care

To Hunter, I know you are settled there at the bridge. Busy running around all the meadows with your fur baby friends and enjoying the swimming holes there. Take a minute though and touch that big paw of yours and give your mommy a nice firm touch to her heart. Let her know you are happy, healthy and whole again. Tell her you know you can't be by her side anymore but you are still watching over her and guarding her front door. Let her know you know you will never be forgotten. All those wonderful memories you shared together are tucked safe and treasured in her heart forever.

What a beautiful and sweet memorial for Hunter. I love all the pictures and your words touched me deeply. The loss of our dear best friends is so hard to bear but the love and laughs they brought to us are worth every minute of grief we have to endure. It's a long journey but we will be united again, I truly believe that. Thank you for posting on the forum and my God bless and bring peace and loving memories to you.

Hunter, we know that you're in a better place now. You family loved you so much and you've brought so much love and joy into their lives. Though time passed, their love for you has not subsided! You will always be in their hearts and they will always remember you for the most amazing friend, companion, child you were. Bless you all and may your hearts be lighter knowing that Hunter is now enjoying the warm sunlight from Rainbow Bridge and playing happily with other amazing friends.

Jane, What a beautiful tribute for your beloved Hunter. I had tears in my eyes reading it and looking at the beautiful pictures of him. I lost my first black lab, Bailey, in 2012. She was the love of my life (besides my husband and children!) Now I have Cody, another black lab...he is 5 years old. It's amazing how much love and how many lessons they teach us in life. I think our furbabies bring us more love than some humans do!! Black labs are the BEST...they are devoted, loving, playful, silly, everything a dog should be. Prayers to you as you navigate on without your Hunter. With time, you'll think of him with smiles instead of tears! XO

Words and time will never mend your broken heart. But, the memories you and Hunter share will put a smile on your face. Know that he is always at your side for the special love you shared is eternal. And, when the time comes he'll be waiting for you, greeting you with a great big kiss and snuggle as you are reunited forevermore!
