Loved reading your messages to Hunter and your pictures. I also had a Hunte.He was a black lab- passed away this Sunday August 23rd. It is so difficult. Your dog reminds me a lot of mine. He would have been nine now and November. We even had a yellow lab just like the one in your picture. He passed away 3 years ago. I know God let me see this so that I could get strength to move on ...bless you

To Hunter, I know you are all settled there at the bridge, got your old buddies with you and new ones as well. Enjoying all the wonderful meadows and running around just like when you were a pup. Take a minute though and touch down to your mommy and daddy's heart. Give your daddy an extra firm tap buddy. Let them both know that you are happy, healthy and whole again. Tell them that although you can't be by their side anymore, you are watching over them and you know you will never be forgotten. All those memories and good time that you made your daddy laugh are tucked safe and treasure in their hearts forever. Enjoy sunning on the nice platform you picked out that's just like your spa at your home.

Bill..Hunter is a beautiful boy..a beautiful tribute for a great friend.It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both.For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us and labs leave them like no other. He is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge, they are gone from our site but never forgotten. Losing a fur baby is never easy, they become so much a part of us. We teach at first then we realize they are teaching us about love and loyalty and enjoying the simple things in life. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Hunter. Please find comfort in knowing that Hunter is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. On March 20, 2017 my sweet little calico Gabbi crossed over Rainbow's Bridge. I adopted her about a month after Spooky passed away and Gabbi also lived to be almost 16 years old. I am sure that Hunter and my babies have all become good friends.
