I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Hoya. Please find comfort in knowing that Hoya is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, and Firefly 12/20/22. I am sure that Hoya and my babies have all become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

Proverbs 12:10 States: A righteous man regards the life of his beast. Am so sorry about your loss. Just remember this.... Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together, completely healed. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers.... You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together..... To be in Heaven with God forever. I am so sorry for your loss of Hoya. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Hoya that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Hoya and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Hoya continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

He was so well loved. For skittish as he was in the beginning, he came so far. After his bath, it was time for Mom to ride a bike ride and him to run along. Everybody in the neighborhood knew that he had just got the bath. But goodness if he got scared, mom almost fell off the bike. I miss him. I love him. I know he belongs in the most special places of heaven. No one knew him as the same dog a year after we had him. I am so sorry that I never got to say a proper goodbye to him. But if I could, I would give him lots of hugs, scratches and kisses. And lots of treats. Hoya you are the sweetest pup. Rest in peace. And remember mommy will always love you.🌈💕🐾💕🐾

June 2010. I hot to babysit my nephew AND my brother's dogs. Hoya was easily my favorite. I chased him relentlessly around the house trying to get a picture. He wouldn't have it. Instead I have tons of blurry shots of stills of the back of Hoya's head. Hoya came to live with my parents for a spell, which is where one of my many cats was living at the time. I think they agreed to just tolerate each other. I was excited to take Hoya on a walk the last year he was in Ohio. He picked up his own leash and led the way. I made sure, just in case, to hug him, give him a kiss, and say goodbye to him last April when I was out in Texas. He was a good boy. Nice dog who just wanted to be your friend.

For sweet Hoya, I know that during your lifetime you gave David much joy. Now I am wishing you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what David wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Hoya, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For David, I just visited your Hoya's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Hoya would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Hoya. Wishing you all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

David: Every single day of those 16 1/2 years with Hoya will be cherished for an eternity. He was your co-pilot in life. Your metronome. Filling those cracks in your heart with memories will help ease some of the hurt, yet when we experience a relationship so meaningful, it is difficult to enter an empty house without those anticipated rituals- like the official greeting . I truly feel your pain and I am so deeply sorry for your loss. In loving memory, I have gifted a pull rope to keep that eternal connection as love does not die. Ever. Living beings do. Just don't let it go...

Hello, handsome Hoya, welcome to sunny Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Dad loves and misses you so...he made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Dad feels your loving presence with him and Hoya kisses in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until he comes for you one day to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask he not be so sad but treasure memories of you and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in his heart forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Dad so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him too and are with him. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Dad always, beloved special buddy Hoya. Pressy's Grandpa
