Thank you for sharing your Honey. I found comfort reading about your beautiful dog. Last night we put our beautiful girl (golden retriever) Honey down and my heart is breaking and I feel so sad and empty. I really hope my Honey is running and so at peace. Maybe she will get to meet your Honey.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Honey. Please find comfort in knowing that Honey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Honey, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. Susan, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Susan, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Honey. Honey was sent to you by our Lord the Almighty as a sign of his love for you. These furry packages of love deliver to us such special fellowship, and companionship. There is nothing stronger than the bond that a man or a woman has for their fur-baby. They give us the strength to face the daily human/earthly dealings. I just lost Ginger the love of my life; my leading lady of 17 years, this past fall.
