Sorry for your loss. Our tuxedo kitty Lexi had this condition. You can read her story on this site. She was 4 years 3 months of age when it happened. We rushed her to the vet and then the emergency hospital on a Friday night. The next day Saturday at 11:30 am she crossed the rainbow bridge. She was bonded to me and it was an awful thing to go through. She was such a good girl and didn't deserve this and have her life cut short. That was October 08 2022 she passed and I miss her terribly. I don't think I'll ever fully recover from losing her at such a young age. She brought so much happiness and companionship into my life.

Karen/Steve...a beautiful tribute to a great friend.Holly is a beautiful girl and very lucky to have yours her forever family. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

I am so sorry for your loss of Holly. My heart goes out to you as I know you are struggling so with the loss of your precious baby. Your world has lost a very special baby, family member and friend, but the heavens have welcomed home a very special soul. Earth’s loss is heaven’s gain. I know you had a special relationship with Holly that will always be a part of you. I pray that my sweet little girl, Bailey, found Holly and they have become friends. May the precious love you shared with Holly continue to warm your heart and I hope you find peace and comfort knowing that your love will bind you together forever. Peace and blessings to you. My precious Bailey left our world December 5th, 2013 and we miss her so. Please visit my Bailey at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BAILE364/Resident.htm

For sweet Holly, I know that during your lifetime you gave Karen & Steve much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photo and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Holly, I have a wonderful playmate for you. His name is Pedro and although he is a little dog he is adorable just like you. I know you two will be very good friends. For Karen & Steve, I just visited your Holly's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Holly would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing. Having lost my little dog Pedro I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Holly. Wishing you both all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom).

Karen and Steve: What a beautiful tribute to Holly, the love of your life. It was the most unselfish act to say how much you loved her enough that you were willing to feel the loss of a dear friend, yet you were not willing to let her suffer. May your tears of sorrow soon turn to ones of joy as you reflect on a life well lived. I've added a brick to the paw-lined path leading to Rainbow Bridge in loving memory...

Hello, pretty Holly, welcome to Paradise meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mommy and Daddy love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful butterflies and trade kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy and Daddy hear your sweet meows and purrs and feel a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're curled up beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mommy and Daddy so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too and are with them. Soar among clouds on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mommy and Daddy always, beloved sweet Holly. Pressy's Grandpa
