Thank you for you kind words I really appreciate everyone that writes to me. I've been feeling like I can't talk to anyone cause none of my friends have pets so they wouldn't understand the pain that I feel over losing a dog. But she wasn't a dog....I considered her my daughter. I'm sorry about Herbie and Mo. It must be really hard to lose 2 animals. I cant bring myself to get another animal. I don't want to fell like this AGAIN some time in my life.

I am so sorry for your loss. Herbie is so handsome. Cats are great. My Jasper who is a doberman and loves cats. He has two cat sisters that he left behind. He was at Rainbow Bridge to greet your Herbie. He never knew that cats and dogs don't usually get along. I bet they play together and nap in nice sunbeams till we meet them again. Bless you and take care.

Hello David, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Herbie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

Dear David, he's beautiful and precious, and what a wonderful blessing that sweet Herbie came into your life many years ago and brought such love and companionship. Though it breaks our hearts when our precious little kitties grow old and leave us for heaven's most beautiful meadow, we must always know that they have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Herbie now plays like a kitten in heavenly sunshine. He has made many new furfriends and together they roam, chase, purr and woof-woof, cuddle and nap, knowing all along that they will be reunited with their earthly families someday. I know this is all true because my two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, are at the rainbow meadow, too. I am sure they have fallen in love with sweet Herbie. Blessings of healing and peace to you and your family, David. You were, and are, a wonderful family to Herbie. I understand and care. Jane

David, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Herbie and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm
